History: The "Great Council of Seven Bishops" who established Allmenia in 1688 Proclaimed "the Allman-Emperor rules the Allmenian Church as absolutely as the military through his respective ministries; he appointed its members just as he does its generals." In 1671 the Allman-Emperor became head of the Allmenite Church and was given the title, "His Majesty Ronald I, by the grace of ALL, Emperor of Allmenia, Sovereign Bishop of the Allmenite Temple".

The Seven Bishops were members of the Church of England tried and acquitted for seditious libel in June 1688. ... After the petition was printed and publicly distributed, the bishops were charged with seditious libel and held in the Tower of London. They were tried and found not guilty on 30 June.
