The Philippines, elections and riotsWorld · 07:22, 09-Oct-2099 CGTN, Updated 07:25, 09-Oct-2099 After the liberation campaign against the Holy America Empire, Chinese troops have remained in the Philippines even into 2099. Finally, after countless delays such as those caused by security concerns over nuclear missile strikes in the Soviet Federation, election results have been released. After weeks of voting, the Federal Party of the Philippines and its candidate of Joel Santos has won in landslide with over 75% of the votes cast in the election.

He is alleged to have sold arms from capitulated American forces to criminal organisations using intermediary companies owned by his friends, families, and supporters, many of which are Chinese Filipinos, ethnic Chinese that are born and raised in the Philippines. While he himself is not a Chinese Filipino, he has married into a prominent Chinese Filipino family.

Racial tensions have been rising steadily against both Chinese Filipinos and Tausūg. Chinese Filipinos are viewed as being given preferential treatment by occupying Chinese forces that are currently organising and training the Filipino government's military who've simply not neglected them as they were during American colonial rule.

Tausūg, who are already viewed as outsiders due to being Muslim, dominate Sulu province where Chinese forces occupied long before the liberation of Mindanao. This predicament led to the majority of Filipino militias being organised in Tausūg dominated land, and thus the Tausūg members being the most experienced and tending to make up the most officers in these Filipino independence militias.

Dissatisfaction and racial tensions has led to mass riots in Davao City, General Santos City, and Cagayan de Oro protesting the electoral victory of Joel Santos, often with violence. Due to reports of beatings and castigation of political opponents and Tausūg and Chinese Filipino, supplementary Chinese forces have been deployed from other regions of the Republic of the Philippines to keep the peace in Davao City, General Santos City, Cagayan de Oro, and other high-risk areas.

Obesity and the overweight, on decline or on the rise?China · 07:22, 09-Oct-2099 CGTN, Updated 07:25, 09-Oct-2099 Obesity in recent years has become more and more of an issue as China further develops and quality of life increases. However, with the recent occurrences in Russia and the mandate to hole up in bunkers, many have speculated how this may affect the health of the people of China.

Others say that with recent efforts, many in bunkers have become more and more social using remote connections. This is obvious with remote education, but some have said that a large percentage of people participate in say, online fitness classes specialising in bunker-friendly exercise. Many claim that inactivity amongst people is a myth and that changing times have meant most remain as active as they were before the lockdown.

A recent government study has found that the percentage of overweight individuals in the Republic of China has decreased from nearly 40% to a whopping 24% that is believed to have been caused by the strict rationing system causing there to be little to no way for an individual to over eat and gain weight.

The National Protection Army (NPA) announce organisational reforms and release more information to the public on the commissioning naval vesselsChina · 19:25, 25-Jun-2099 CGTN, Updated 19:25, 25-Jun-2099 The NPA has announced a new reorganisation of all branches of the National Protection Army (NPA), whether that be the NPA Ground Force (NPAGF), NPA Airforce (NPAAF), NPA Navy (NPAN), NPA Rocket Force (NPARF), or the NPA Strategic Support Force (NPASSF). They are to be reorganised similar to the People's Liberation Army and its branches of the past so as to make the NPA a more flexible force that can react to even the most significant disruption. It has also revealed that the innumerable commissioned naval vessels currently being constructed, includes multiple aircraft carriers despite construction of an aircraft carrier having already begun, meaning that multiple aircraft carriers are currently in development simultaneously.
Theater Commands. Black = Northern Theater, Yellow = Central Theater, White = Western Theater, Blue = Eastern Theater, Red = Southern Theater
The NPA Airforce will be reorganised from a organisation based on American militaries with wings, instead it shall be divided into five theater commands. Each has their own subordinate airbases, base commands, military units, and training bases. The NPA Airforce also has
The NPA Navy is to be reorganised into three fleets. The North Sea Fleet, East Sea Fleet, and South Sea Fleet. They are based in the Yellow Sea, East China Sea, and South China Sea and headquartered out of Qingdao, Hangzhou, and Zhanjiang respectively. Under each fleet is their own subordinate branches. The NPA Navy branches are the NPA Navy Surface Force, NPA Navy Submarine Force, NPA Navy Coastal Defence Force, NPA Navy Marine Corps, and the NPA Navy Airforce.

The NPA Navy Surface Force is composed of all of the NPA Navy's surface vessels and is organised into different flotillas. These flotillas are assigned to one of the three fleets. The NPA Navy Submarine Force consists of the NPA Navy's nuclear and diesel-electric submarines and is organised similarly to the NPA Surface Force, with different flotillas being assigned to different fleets. The NPA Navy Submarine Force will be the new focus of the NPA Navy as has introduced a new naval doctrine focusing on the effective usage of submarines.

Both the Yu-8 and Yu-10 are made using nanomaterials, mostly alloys that are made using nanotechnology to reduce weight, improve overall performance, improve longevity, make the torpedoes corrosion resistant, improve stealth with improved stealth coatings that reduce the acoustic, thermal, and electromagnetic signatures of the torpedoes making them less detectable to enemy sensors and more resilient to countermeasures, increased strength using nanoscale reinforcements, and to enhance the propulsion systems by reducing drag and friction.

The Republic of China announces new policy on transparency and corruption in a desperate move with the hopes of eliminating corruptionChina · 06:54, 20-Oct-2099 CGTN, Updated 06:54, 20-Oct-2099 In a startling announcement, President Li Shimin has announced a transparency edict. This edict will make it so that all government funds, where they come from, what company or institution they go to, and exact prices for whatever objects or services.

Already, thousands of mostly mid-level state officials have been busted and arrested for corruption and embezzlement. The new act and its effects has led to the discovery that much of the military and civil service's competence, as competent as they were already, had been majorly hampered by corruption. A large percentage of would-be embezzled funds have been seized and invested in infrastructure or the military. It is said by many that the strength and efficiency of the civil service and military will only increase with the new policy.

Plastic waste and how it is to be dealt with in the Republic of ChinaChina · 09:06, 13-Oct-2099 CGTN, Updated 09:06, 13-Oct-2099 Plastics has increasingly made up a wider portion of the amount of garbage produced by the Republic of China due to recycling initiatives and the continued unprofitability of plastic recycling. Most oil in China is used to produce plastics, and the demand for such goods have only risen with time.
A plastic recycling plant, another way to deal with plastic waste that is equally unprofitable
The government has announced that the state will begin investing in plastic pyrolysis to make it artificially profitable and to develop more efficient reactors that do not produce as many pyrosynthetic products that have a low yield of usable oil that cause downstream issues such as fouling and corrosion. It is hoped that the industry may become profitable.

While many argue over whether pyrolysis or recycling should be used to deal with plastic waste, one thing is for certain. People must be better educated on plastic waste so that they can sort their plastic waste on their own before having it taken away to a sorting plant, greatly reducing the labour and efficiency cost and potentially making plastic recycling and or plastic pyrolysis profitable. In the meantime, both plastic recycling and pyrolysis will be much more reliant on automated sorting systems.

If you don't give China a like I will nuke you
@Raritania Thx!
Btw I'll be moving my military stats over to a single google doc. The character limit on bulletins limits my ability to convey information on the multiple regularly updated bulletins I currently use. I'll be changing my custom description to what you've seen in Victoria's and others' custom description, emulating Wikipedia and mostly showing the lore of one's nation
I thought I went the extra mile when I wrote my national information bulletin, but this is INCREDIBLE. Impressive doesn't do it justice.
How did you get all the formatting to be like that? I would like to incorporate that into my bulletins more often cause it's really cool.
Thank you so much!
To do this you have to place tables in your bulletins. Usually I just select it as being 1 by 1 but you can do it other ways and it works aswell.
This one
Tables can have different colours and different thicknesses. There's a selection of predetermined colours, but you can paste the hex code or RGB code of a colour in the colour bar when selecting a colour to be the background or border of a table.
You might not see it, but in this bulletin I used tables in tables that did not resemble tables because their borders were invisible. If you don't change the settings of the border, it'll automatically show one when you post it. To make the borders of a table invisible, you have to select a colour for the border, any colour, and make the thickness 0. You have to do this for the whole table whose borders you want to be invisible and also the borders of the individual cells in the table if you have multiple cells in it.
To make the gifs, I use Canva. Also, if you want to have a gif go all the way from side to side in the table, you have to reduce the padding of the table to 0.
This is actually a beautiful one, you get a like!
