ROG Declares War On New Bermudas + More News

REPUBLIC OF GREENLAND DECLARES WAR ON NEW BERMUDAS

Following the recent development of bio-weapons being started by New Bermudas, as well as threats, embargoes and slanderous claims made by the nation's leader, the Republic of Greenland has entered a state of war. The nation of New Bermudas is approximately 1,300 kilometers away from Iceland and thus poses a threat to the safety of the empire. The following units are being deployed from Iceland:
 

• A strike force consisting of the ISS Rorke's Drift Excalibur-class battle cruiser (the flagship of the Imperial navy), two Athens-class frigates (the ISS Swift Justice and ISS Victory), one Proctor-class destroyer (the ISS Guardian), one minesweeper ship and one hospital ship
• 2nd Special Forces (3,000 men)
• 1st Airborne Division (20,000 men)
• 3rd Infantry Division (20,000 men)
• 1st Army Aviation Corps (Detachment of 10 attack helicopters, 30 transport helicopters, 25 VTOL gunship transports, and 2 anti-sub helis)
• 1st Armored Division (Detachment of 20 MBT-1 heavy main battle tanks, 40 AATH-1 tanks (army model), 25 IFVs)
• 2nd Air Wing (Detachment consisting of 10 MRF-1 multirole fighters, 5 CAS-1 gunships)
• 1st Bomber Wing (Detachment consisting of 10 HAB-1 MkII high-altitude bombers)

The forces are expected to arrive in New Bermudan waters by August 3rd. The aim of the operation is the total disarming of the New Bermudan state. New Bermudas is being given exactly 3 days (in RP) from the publishing of this bulletin to surrender all armaments and allow ROG forces to inspect their nation and search for any bio-weapons. Resistance or refusal will result in a blockade, followed by a land and air invasion and the swift and total dismantling of the New Bermudan state. We offer you mercy. The ROG would like to remind New Bermudas of our latest example of what happens to bioweapon-using nations, the fellow GSC nation of Mundusia, who was swiftly invaded by a coalition of over 5 massive nations. Because New Bermudas has never published anything regarding his military size, the ROG will assume that his military is approximately 13,000 men (this from communications several months old with his nation).

GSC SUSPENDS INVASION AND BLOCKADE OF OSMAN
 

The nation of the Republic of Osman, a recent powerhouse in the African continent, has been the subject of much controversy over the past few months in RP. As of the time of this bulletin being written, the GSC's planned invasion is suspended. The GSC will harbor forces in the area and keep a very close eye on the nation of Osman's 20 ICBMs in Northern Nigeria through nonstop satellite surveillance, 24/7 365 days a year thanks to Taipan Aerospace, who are being paid 200m USD for the work.

If at any point in time the nation of Osman sends troops into any nation or launches any attacks, nuclear or otherwise, he can expect total retaliation from the GSC and Sedrosia. Considering your low GDP, lack of major urban centers, and few trading partners, we would assume that ANY technology of this sort, especially on the grand scale you claim, would take at least until 2103 at the earliest to finish development. You can say it's an unjust void all you want, but the majority of RP would agree with me. Your soon-to-be "voided void" has been voided. I preemptively void your void of my void. 

The development of bio-weapons is an international crime, and considered a threat to the safety of my nation and Raritanians in Iceland, as well as all of Europe. As stated in the bulletin, your troop numbers are estimated to be at 13,000 until you provide ample military numbers that make sense according to a population and GDP which would have to make sense according to your location and size (whilst taking into account lack of major urban centers) therefore, this will be an easy fight. With each of my standard infantrymen (3rd Infantry Division) doing 8 months of training and having an 85% accuracy rating on all firearms they train with, I could wipe your nation out with maybe 5,000 of them. You don't want to see my special forces.
