‘Good times will come’ has been what every successive government in the Indian subcontinent has said. Yet, those supposed good times never came. With the fallout incident and the rise in organized crime, good times may never come. One more problem that the citizens of the Republic must now face is the threat of the Naxal houses. As such, a series of military simulations have been sanctioned to gauge the effectiveness of the Republican armed forces in the fight against the Naxals.

BASICS

The simulation shall enact a hypothetical special military operation between two military groups codenamed AKOLA’ and BEED’ - representing Winners and the Naxals respectively. AKOLA will be led by General Ludomir Budnik and BEED by General Vinay Sanyal. Both generals are known for their unorthodox tactics, representing the best strategy for both sides. There are a total of 8 victory points on the map: Able, Baker, Charlie, Dragon, Echo, Field, Gold, and Hotel. Able is controlled by AKOLA while Baker is NEUTRAL. The rest are controlled by BEED. The division spread for both groups is as follows:

AKOLA:
1st Revolutionary Militia

7th Revolutionary Militia

11th Rural Warfare Specialists

3rd Elites

4th Elites

7th Regular Infantry

6th Towed Artillery (Available Upon Capturing 3 Victory Points)

Air Support (Available Upon Capturing Baker)

BEED:

1st Guerrillas

2nd Guerrillas

3rd Guerrillas

4th Guerrillas

5th Guerrillas

7th Guerrillas

1st Regular Infantry

2nd Regular Infantry

3rd Regular Infantry

1st Towed Artillery

2nd Towed Artillery

3rd Towed Artillery

OBJECTIVES

Both groups have 13 days to accomplish one of two objectives. If one group's leadership believes that victory against the other is impossible, the defeated side may announce their unconditional surrender. If neither group can accomplish their goals within the given time frame, it shall result in a stalemate.

The surrender of AKOLA within the very first day of the simulation underscores the vulnerability of the Republican armed forces. As long as BEED can exploit anti-infantry mines and artillery strikes, no Republican general - regardless of their competence - can put an end to the Naxal menace. Relying on the assistance of the Union of India is our only hope…

OOC: Hey there, it was fun role-playing with you guys. However, my laptop is going to be under repair for the next 8 days, so I'll have to write bulletins on my tablet. Rather than sacrifice bulletin quality, I have opted to write bulletins once it is fixed. When I return, expect to see some bulletins written in the past. To my comrades in the Union of India, you may resolve The Naxal Question as you wish.
