ICBM Paths According To The Areulian Nuclear Threats Detection System

02.44 P.M, NZ Time

This is not a drill. All citizens are to pay attention to the following broadcast as it is of highest concern by the Areulian government.

Nuclear war has begun. Around 10 minutes ago, the nuclear arsenal of the Soviet Federation was launched towards an allied nation, The United Imperium. An estimate of 360 launched were detected by the Nuclear Threats Detection System. Estimated casualties range in the tens of millions, however, there is no time to mourn their losses.

All citizens abroad are advised to return to the homeland within 24 hours and to stockpile resources for a possible nuclear strike, gather food, water, medicine, and other essential supplies enough to last at least 2 weeks. The Department of Military Affairs has mobilized the military nation wide in efforts to prevent rioting and assist evacuations if necessary.

Due to the nature of this event, the general elections have been temporarily suspended due to national security concerns, an interim coalition government will be set up in the meantime until the dust has been settled. We wish the best for all of you and finally, long live Areulia and Oceania.

Our brave fellow countrymen have been caught in the crossfire within the continent of America. Military assets belonging to Areulia are currently being evacuated with the fleet in Haiti carrying some civilians aboard, all to soon be given refugee status.

The Areulian base in The United Imperium, Fort Midwest, is currently being evacuated via air, a risky yet necessary move. We bid farewell to The United Imperium and it's servicemen who have bravely served along side us, may whatever higher being you believe in bless your souls.
