The Southwest Carribean Company's Founding

After a short period of bureaucratic processes and surveying claimed territory of countries and entities, the government has ruled that companies can operate in the southwest Carribean islands as long as the island is unclaimed and uninhabited. The islands in this region came under interest due to potential for guano gathering. The process of gathering guano has, in the last four years, become a crucial help in the act of exporting fertilizer. Mixed with the growing phosphate mining industry, a new type of far more efficient fertilizer may be made with these droppings. However, compared to the overwhelmingly large phosphate deposits the act of collecting guano cannot compete whatsoever.

In attempts to gain more guano, major companies have asked the government for permission to set up a collective colony in the Carribean where a large amount of conveniently unclaimed islands lay. An act, called the Guano Companies Act, was passed soon after. This would permit for these major companies to operate in the unclaimed islands in order to collect this resource. The umbrella term for these companies' operations and claims in the Carribean have been coined collectively as the Mundusian Southwest Carribean Company.

To help establish these claims, President Kopington and the Minister of Defense authorized the 1st Penal Waters Unit, comprised entirely of 205 criminals and 13 armed lightboats, to represent these companies. Their commander, Warden Austain Auxe Genkinburgs, has promised to keep them in line along with the rest of his personnel. Their first order of business will be to build settlements on their respective islands. Along with this, creating long-range radio contact between the islands is also an objective.

Ecologists, biologists, and other scientists have recently taken interest in the islands under control of the companies as well. Studies by some criminals, who once at least took an interest into the subjects, have shown that some possible sightings of thought to be extinct animals have started to increase in frequency. Most notably, the Carribean Monk Seal which was thought to be extinct all the way back from the 1950s-1960s. As such, they have asked that the 1st Penal Waters Unit create biological monitoring stations as well and to enlist well-knowledgeable individuals to the position of Scientific Monitor.

Some navy units will also periodically train in the penal colony's waters whilst making sure they do not interfere with international borders, under permission of the Minister of Defense. The colony is expected to make Mundusian interests proud. More reports will be collected in the following days.

Construction on Aircraft Carrier Alten-Rouve Begins

maxresdefault.jpg

The long-awaited aircraft carrier of Mundusia has received some groundbreaking news. Construction has finally begun on the aircraft carrier. It was expected, even at its impetus, to help the navy with its future missions in farther lands. Over 14 billion Kranims in funds and materials have been poured into the construction's progress. The new Civilian Korps branch of the military have been assigned to the carrier's construction. The Port of Dakar has also taken up its construction.

With both parties taking up the construction, the amount of personnel working on the carrier are estimated to be around 17,000. Construction is estimated to be complete in 2-6 years, considering it is relatively large compared to carriers from around the world. It will be able to hold a maximum of 130 aircraft, all of which are exclusively SuX-11s - the standard and most commonly used aircraft of the Mundusian Integrated Air Services.

The Alten-Rouve is estimated to come into service no later than 2106. The general overseer of the project, Haugen Alten-Rouve, for which the ship is named after, has stated that:

"I am, along with the staff who have taken up this operation, very appreciative to the government for allowing us to create this marvelous weapon. Our construction work is very precise and even the slightest error could restart the project. However, I can assure you that such a thing will not happen. As of current, we are pushing for the project to complete in 2100. Of course, the future is unpredictable."

Employment Rates Skyrocket After Government Announces Program

OIP.Le7yJDYQnBYjO92ofyp45wHaEK?rs=1&pid=ImgDetMain

The employment rate has suddenly skyrocketed in the nation after the government announced an anti-unemployment program. This program, called the Worker's Act For A Better Nation, or WAFABN for short, has proved critical in restoring the nation from the 2nd Mundusian War. WAFABN, in basic terms, allows for the unemployed without favorable resumes to take up jobs based not on written skills but rather personality, cooperation with others, strength, agility, and reaction to certain situations in which the job requires.

After this act/program was passed, nearly a million citizens went into jobs that followed and supported WAFABN. Some of these jobs are firefighters, police, transporters, mailmen and mailwomen, and many more. Some have even applied for the technical center of the Civilian Korps in efforts to protect the nation's cybersecurity. Coincidentally, a small minority of people have volunteered to be a paid employee in the Southwest Carribean Company as guards - and some even gatherers.

President Kopington's approval rating has since risen to 89.17%, after an opinion census was taken. It is likely that President Kopington will now run for reelection in 2100 with WAFABN, along with other activities he has done, supporting him on a pillar of sorts.

That is all we have for today!

'Till next time!

Very interesting bulletin. We have been monitoring guano markets and number of Plumbagian companies would be interested in importing tropical guano to Antarctica.

What type of stupid rule is that? What's wrong on having a colony in the Tropics, the people are chill, and just enjoy a perfect Pĩna colada, nothing more
