The partition of the THAE

By Political Correspondent Thamas Crickler

The THAE has been partitioned following the surrender of its government.

Raritania has been formally given Indiana and the remainder of Ohio by TUI.

We have reorganized this land into 4 provinces: Toledo Province, Cincinnati Province, Indianapolis Province, and Fort Wayne Province (with a petition to split Gary Province from Fort Wayne)

Accurate census data is yet to be acquired but the Raritanian population is now believed to exceed 100 million

Preparing the Defense of the Fatherland: Operation Erebor

By Military Correspondent Jonathan Kreclek

Raritania has begun to prepare the defense of the fatherland.

The Soviet Navy is far from Raritanian shores, but should the worst happen we must be ready long before. Naval mines are being manufactured en masse and the Coast Guard, for the first time ever, has been placed on high alert; it will remain so for the remainder of the war.

The Raritanian Lake Ontario Fleet is being recalled to the Atlantic.

The 1st Reserve Marine Division, which honed its skills in the La Plata civil war, has begun to travel north into Mountainia and northern TUI, awaiting Canadian permission for transit to Alaska

Lastly, our first combat operations of the war have occurred; cruise missiles based on Thingollia were launched at Soviet ships in the north sea. A frigate was hit and suffered critical damage, while a missile targeting a Soviet cruiser was shot down, with 1 death caused on deck by shrapnel.

The President's Office and Department of Defence grant American forces permission to travel through BC on route to Alaska.
