Following the Republic Of China’s invasion of Dreamistan, an extremely close British ally, Westminster has ordered full mobilisation across the British Empire. All reserves across the empire have begun to be armed and prepared for a conflict. Furthermore, recruitment centres have seen a sharp rise in applications as reserve pay has increased by 6%, the highest rise in the last four years. British spy satellites have also begun to supply Shangdong with information.

British sanctions have been aimed at the Soviet Federation and China; complete embargoes for all their products have been introduced. This has increased demand for cheap products produced in British Africa and is expected to grow their regional GDPs and increase the employment rate. Furthermore, all Soviet and Chinese assets stored in Britain have been completely frozen. The amount of capital isn't known, but it is expected to be a significant figure as Britain is regularly used by Soviet oligarchs and the Chinese upper class to launder their money, store it in tax havens, and invest in London properties. Westminster has pleaded with British companies, businesses and civilians to retract any money or investments stored in UEC countries.

MoD links have suggested an ongoing operation nicknamed ‘Operation Jack-In-The-Box’ has been ordered to go ahead. Not much is known about the campaign, other than it aims to “deliver a swift and precise response against Britain and its allies.” A second MoD link confirmed the suspicions of British military specialists, that the following projects were completed in the last six months:

. Project Valkyrie

. Project Nightshade

. Project Mirage

. Project Black Mamba

The contents of the projects are still unknown and are expected to remain confidential.

Following Britain’s commitment to GEDO defence, the following fleets were repositioned to global flashpoints;

Marine Fleet and Australian fleet to South Korea

British reinforcement Fleet to Colombia

British 2nd reinforcement Fleet to Nigeria

British 3rd reinforcement fleet, 3rd and 2nd British fleets to the North Sea

As well as this, the RAF is being distributed to Colombia and Korea, in case of a UEC attack. Following the combined efforts of RAF fixed-wing transport aircraft, British Army helicopters, Royal Navy transport aircraft, British airliner support, naval ships and British merchant ships, 10,000 marines were moved to South Korea; this is only expected to be the first wave of marines, with more following, including marines, reserves, soldiers, PMC’s, paratroopers and elite regiments. Additionally, G4S (490,000 personnel) has been paid to station their forces in Korea. Titan Security Solutions (16,000 elite soldiers) is being moved to Nigeria, Aegis Security Solutions (21,000 personnel) has been paid to guard Colombia, Protection Vessels International was paid to assist the Marines fleet, Gardaworld (132,000 personnel) has also been stationed in Korea and three minor PMCs (15,000) were paid to guard certain areas in British Africa. These acquisitions were deemed necessary to support and protect British territory and forces. Most British personnel will be kept in dominions but can be moved in case of an ally’s invasion. Alexander Pendragon has expressed his aim to reach 5 million soldiers in the next three months. 20 billion pounds will be retrieved from the British Sovereign Wealth Fund to pay for the mobilisation. G4S, Titan Security Solutions and Aegis have begun to mass-build recruiting offices across Colombia, Ethiopia and the Sedrosian Empire.

To arm the Military’s new soldiers, the MoD has acquired multiple new weapons from Dagger Company; the first is an assault rifle, named Hellion, which is a marksman rifle, capable of full auto, in a light and compact package. The second, what is named the VS-20, is perfect for defending positions, with a high rate of fire, and a large magazine size. As well as these two assault rifles, 500,000 sidearms were purchased. The pistols are fully automatic and intended for close combat use.

The Lindworm boring machine is a subterranean military vehicle operated by the British Army. It is designed for covert operations and strategic disruption. Created by BAE systems, the vehicle can drill through soil, rock and even metal. Its primary function is to strategically drill underneath enemy positions, military bases or airstrips then leave a trail of explosives and chaos in its wake. Its hanger, usually used for mine storage, can also house up to 80 fully equipped soldiers at a time. The Lindworm also carries vertical boring machines which, as the name suggests, dig upwards. As it nears the surface, a rope ladder descends, allowing soldiers to climb up to the surface undetected. Each Lindworm is roughly thirty-eight metres in length but is small enough to be transported by helicopter. In the unfortunate event that the ground collapses on a lindworm, each machine has stores of food, water and a chemical oxygen generator; its hull can also withstand the pressure of being over 150 metres below ground. A total of thirty have been ordered from BAE systems. This follows the MoD's recent aim to create ingenuitive and ground-breaking (excuse the bad pun) new vehicles to give Britain the upper hand in warfare.

"Gardaworld (132,000 personnel) has also been stationed in Korea" I assume that's not the Montreal security firm, but it threw me off for a second.
