Island Hopping

With 4 Islands extremely close to Melonese territories, we needed to get rid of these islands that are in Escharian Possession, or else they could be a threat later on. So The Melon needed to get rid of these islands from Escharian possession. How do we do that? We land on them, D-day style.

A decent military fleet has been put together, it included 40 landing crafts (able to hold in total of around 1,500 people), 1 battleship, 2 Sickle Class Destroyers, 6 normal Destroyers, 4 Frigates, 2 Cruisers, 1 Corvette, and some Military Water Tanks. This fleet was bound to land on Karpathos, the 2nd smallest of the 4 islands. How did the battle go? Here are the results

With only around 14,000 residents during the summer months, this battle was not going to be very difficult.

Karpathos was not big, and neither was the military presence, so it was a pretty easy landing. Very little resistance was posed at The Melon invaders, but there was still some resistance, as there were around 1,000 soldiers guarding the beach, but these soldiers were out numbered, and we had the naval superiority, and some surrendered. Multiple Escharian Ships were in the area, but they were not enough to stop the multiple Melonese ships that were in the area, therefore, most of the ships either surrendered, or were basically destroyed. In all the naval battles only our single Corvette was destroyed, while all of the enemy ships were destroyed (some surrendered, and we took the crew as prisoners, then we destroyed the ships that they were on). In total, the landing was a success, with only 647 dead Melonese, and 537 dead Escharians because of their soldiers surrender. The Melon quickly were able to take the island with the 12 Military Water Tanks that assisted The Melonese as cover and as a normal Tank. No residents were killed except one resident who attacked a Melonese soldier by shooting him in the leg, that resident was killed after he also attempted to shoot more soldiers, but he missed and he (the resident) was killed. Very little resistance was met after the battle from soldiers, mainly because they were outnumbered and it would be basically suicide if they attacked. It was a victory for The Melonese. The tanks moved throughout the island, this island was secured.

Kasos, this island was the smallest of all the islands, with a population of around 1,300. This battle was quite easy as we sent 3 Corvettes, 2 Frigates, 1 ABUBAKIR 360, and 26 Landing Craft (total of around 940 Soldiers). The battle was barely even a battle, as there were around only 420 soldiers guarding the beach, and when they saw the ships and all of our soldiers, it was basically over for them, but one brave soldier did fire his weapon, causing a skirmish, most surrendering soldiers lay on the ground, to show that they surrendered, but in that skirmish 130 Escharians were killed while 127 Melonese were killed. Kasos was successfully captured. 2 down, 2 to go.

Now, before we have another landing on a Island, I want to entertain you people with a blockade!

The Melon needed to blockade the DRC, you see, the DRC was extremely valuable to the Escharians, it house basically 99% of Escharia's population, without it, Escharia would roughly have a population of around 2 million, the DRC must be blocked off from the rest of Escharia. How will we do that? A blockade. First we need to decide where to leave from, the Melonese ruled off Cyprus and Turkey because there will most likely Enemy Ships in the Mediterranean, and we also rule off Brittany because there could also be enemy ships on the way to the DRC. That leaves Cuba, which would be the best place to leave from. We need to put together an extremely large fleet for this, as this may be the largest naval blockade in Melonese History. This new fleet consists of 7 Battleships, 12 Destroyers, 6 Corvettes, 6 Frigates, 2 ABUBAKIR-325 Battleships, Some Melonese Merchant Ships, 3 Sickle Class Destroyers, 4 Cruisers, 1 Aircraft Carrier (Uchamese), 3 UCH-905-Warships, 6 Support Vessels, 18 Submarines, 3 ABUBAKIR-360 Battleships, and 1 Small Raft Armed with a Gun. This fleet is one of the largest, most advanced, and powerful fleets in the world. It contains some Uchamese Ships, Some Melonese Ships, it even contains some British Ships! This fleet launched from Cuba and went into a direct path to the DRC, most ships that passed by the fleet must have been slightly terrified. The fleet managed to not get spotted by any Escharian Ships, They were successful in establishing the blockade. The Melon has ruled that any non-Escharian ships leaving Escharian Congo will be allowed to get through the blockade, but then they can't return to Escharian Congo. Any Escharian ships that are non-military leaving or entering the DRC will have their Crew and Passengers taken aboard, then the ship they were on will be destroyed, and the supplies they were carrying will be put on Melonese Merchant Ships to head back to Cuba. Any ships looking to trade with Escharia will be sent back to their Country, and any Escharian Military Ships will be absolutely decimated by the fleet.

Now we have cut off all of Escharia's resources in the Congo to his Mainland, we need to focus on the biggest battle of this bulletin. The battle of Rodos (Rhodes)...

We needed a large fleet to take Rodos, Rodos had a population of 126,000 people, that was much more than Karpathos and Kasos. So we took a fleet of 1000 landing craft, (which gives us around 36,000 troops to land on the beaches)2 Amphibious Assault Ships, 6 Destroyers, 4 Corvettes, 2 Frigates, 2 ABUBAKIR-325 Battleships, 1 ABUBAKIR-360 Battleship, 7 Minesweepers, 1 UCH-905-Warship, 3 Cruisers, and 4 Battleships. We also sent some paratroopers to disrupt the enemy fortifications.

The 1,000 landing craft was going to land at 3 beaches, which are Kiwi, Flavor, and Eco(came up with random words). Eco was a difficult battle. Of the 12,000 troops, it was not well conditions and 1,000 troops were slaughtered in the first part of the battle. But Melonese soldiers did set up defenses on their side of the beach at nightfall, and now it was a tense standoff. No beach has been captured, but it will be soon. Melonese soldiers Kiwi was more difficult, with underestimated troops and not as successful paratroopers, the Melonese actually had to fight in this one. The Melonese did end up winning, but at a cost of around 3,600 troops, while the Escharians lost 4,300 troops. The Melonese were able to win the battle, but at high costs. Flavor was the worst battle, with us severely underestimating Escharian Troops, and Paratroopers barely even putting a dent into the Escharians, it seemed like a losing battle, but luckily 12 Amphibious Tanks were able to make it to shore, and Melonese troops pulled through. The water was stained with blood, and it was terrible conditions, but brave Melonese Men such as General Bly of the 2nd Tanks Division were able to lead the Melonese to victory in capturing the beach. The battle saw about 6,789 Melonese killed, while Escharia lost 6,867, The rest were taken prisoner.

You have a GM actively hostile to my nation lol

^ not every war or war bulletin needs a mod lmao, no clear reason of why it should get voided, so I don't think your void should count. (Most wars, in order for there to be a mod, needs both parties, or more, permission to have a war moderated or something.)

Not to mention the fact that it would be impossible to get your ships to the DRC. Or do any of the things you did without logistical preparation. Capturing Rhodos on day 1 of the invasion also makes no logistical sense.

Get a better, mutually approved GM that isn’t actively hostile, and I’ll lift the void.

I own cuba

I can just sail there, this bulletin took me 4 days, which is equal to like a month and a half ingame.

also, I didn't capture rodos, I only landed at it, and so what if the gm is hostile towards you, he was like the only one i could find, all the others could tell you my plans, and the neutral ones are non-existent

There is no possible way to know my troop positions, where my fleets are, etc. It would also take weeks to get there by boat, especially from Cuba.

Contact me on Discord and we can do this properly.

i don't know where your fleets are, that's the thing, all of rp is just the players finger, there is no way of knowing exactly where every ship is, that is impossible

heading to discord rn
