       Ajakon Demobilization

Aki Akimoto, deciding that the Ajako Confederation DOESN'T need to be fully militarized 24/7, 365; has ordered a demobilization of the Ajakon military. The 6th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 13th, and 14th Combined and Airborne Armies have been disbanded dropping the Ajakon Army from 1.8 million to 1.02 million troops, and the Ajakon reserves have been reduced from 2.4 million troops to 600,000 troops. The Ajakon Navy will be retiring a large number of ships, dropping its count to 277 combatant ships from its former 428 combatant ships, the noncombatant ships will not be affected by this demobilization. The old and trustworthy ACNBB Shinano will be retiring, with conversion to a museam and removal of nuclear reactors expected to take some time. The released Ajakon military men and women will be slowly reentering the Ajakon workforce, and some will also be going to help the Dutch develop South Africa. Others will be going to Zukesa to help with their workforce and will have dual Ajakon-Zukesan Citizenship.
Economic Downturn in Quarter 1 of the Year

The Ajakon Economy has taken a large hit due to the Mitsubishi Corruption Scandal and the current demobilization. The Ajakon Economy is on a whole down by 19%, with the largest hit being the automobile industry, down a whopping 67%. In order to preserve local businesses, the Ajakon Economic government Advisors have increased protectionism measures, ramping up tariffs and closing the bottleneck on foreign trade. Already this has caused mass panic from international investors that had stakes within Japanese businesses, especially those of the Ajako government's closest business partners in Sedrosia, resulting in mass panic among investors and citizens of both economies and plummeting the markets as people try to save their money and cut their losses.

(Ps, I think Korea wants me to tell you that she's taking a week long break, she cited stress)
