Norway sends “Letters of Reunion” to Denmark

With the Norwegian state beginning to rise once again, King Olav has taken the opportunity to undo what he calls “An old wrong” where Norway was forced to Unionize with Sweden and abandon the relatively happy Union/alliance it had with Denmark. How he plans to “right this wrong” is rather simple, the high king has sent several “letters of reunion” to the leaders of Denmark stating his desire for a Danish-Norwegian reunion and bringing up points of why that would make the most sense of any other possible Union involving Norway or Denmark considering the cultural ties and similarities. With the letters set to arrive in mere days, the king eagerly awaits the response of the Danish leadership.

New Constitution set to be drafted

In an interesting turn of events Norwegian lawmakers at the orders of the High King are set to draft a new constitution for the resurfacing nation. He has stated his reasoning was that both the old one drafted under Neo German rule and the previous one from the old Norwegian state were “outdated” and “did not fit with the current world situation”. While not much information has been leaked of the document in progress and the details of those involved remain highly classified, officials promise that the changes will be good and will “help to elevate our nation”.
