Food Prices Increasing Significantly

Dean Lingonburg was watching the stock market and saw the food proces rising day by day and this may be a big problem but also a benefit.

Last time we had a significant increase of food prices was in the December of 2022 when food raised all the way up to around 220$ per unit but then dropped greatly, the Cernald Stock Center has been studying the Food prices and we saw that this may be the next significant food price increase.

Problems

This is a huge problem for some nations and a benefit for other nations. So first we will start off with the problems, some nations like Cernald and other nation’s dont grow food so they buy it in big quantities but since the food prices are rising they need to spend around 8 million dollars for 50,000 food and this money could be used for cities, militaries, etc. There is also another issue and that is the average nation intake of food, in other words, how much food your nation eats per turn or day, I consume around 2,000 food a day but these prices make it almost impossible to upkeep with my nations food intake and other nations. Some nations are very rich so this can’t affect them that much.

Benefits

There are some benefits to the Significant Food Price Increase, not all of these benefits benefit everyone. Going to number one, if you are a food seller, you may be in for a treat because you can sell tons of food and people will be forced to buy it because it feeds their citizens, you can maybe charge a little higher too! Going to number two, you can raid people with lots of food and sell them and make even more money, the nation that you raided might even buy from you! And thats all of the benefits!

Solution

There is only one solution to this; farms. Why farms? Because the more farms you buy the more your food intake goes down or your food production increases a lot.

In conclusion, the food prices are increasing and this may benefit or not benefit other nations. You better get your farms going!
