          Japanese First Strike Against Hainan

As Hainanian aggression continues, the Japanese National Diet has voted to declare war on the nation of Hainan to curb their aggression and expansion in Asia and the world. The vote was 134 to 121, with the parties mostly split, and a more 'everyone for themselves' vibe to the voting. The Japanese "attack" began with massive defenses built on the Korean SGP-Hainan border, along with defenses reinforced and made the strength of Japanese homeland costal defenses on the Taiwanese Coastlines.

While this was happening, Japanese Isles Missile Corps bases in Taiwan, Korea, and Japan launched a medium sized missile bombardment, with no HSBMs or EMPs. A meh amount of the missiles got past, leading to a second and larger strike launched against Hainanian AA and SaM sites and systems, with a large amount of EMP weaponry. This strike had a much better success rate, with the JIMC stopping to reload missile tubes.

          Naval and Air Campaigns

The Japanese Isles Combined Pacific and African Fleet set out against the Hainanian Fleet, bombarding from afar and launching missiles against Hainan Ships. The JICPAF Submarines hunted down and sunk two of the three new Hainanian nuclear submarines, correctly seeing them as a threat after a Japanese Kyoto class cruiser was heavily damaged in a fleet action by the surviving sub. Other news is that the JIUAC Nipponrettō was slightly damaged by a 12 anti-ship missile barrage, it will port in a JI base to repair. The Japanese Isles have established a partial blockade around Hainan. Any and all Hainan ships will be destroyed, along with any aid sent to them. In other news, the 3rd and 4th Tactical Air Superiority Wings, along with the 10th, 11th, and 6th Strike and Bombing wings have fought Hainanian fighters above Bejing and above Manchuria, where the JIA aircraft have will be focusing their efforts. The JIA has currently lost 8-14 aircraft to Hainanian forces. After this, JIN force have sat back and started to bombard Hainanian Coastal lines and islands, targeting industrial complexes and military bases. The Japanese Isles Naval Reserves have been activated to help with the large task of blockading most of Hainan. The Japanese Isles fleets have lost around 26 ships, mostly older Ryu, Shi, Same, and Seimei class ships from the JINR fleet.

           Hainanian Philippines

The Japanese Isles Naval Force also split up partially to address the issue of Hainanese Philippines. Japanese Forces there are less but are still there. They fought Hainanian forces, destroying multiple capital ships in their defense fleet, bombarding Hainanian-Filipino Bases and Military Bases. The JINR lost 10-15 ships from this as well, as modern ASMs can easily track and destroy Ryu and Shi class ships. However, Modern JIN ships can and will shoot down Hainanian ASMs.

Japanese Isles Prime Minister responds to Soviet Federation war on Hainan.

This war will be quite a while for the Japanese nation. Although I hate the Soviet Federation with all my guts, I do have to say, I can't blame them for trying to stop the expansion of an aggressive state which has stated multiple times it wants to dismantle world and superpowers. And, not only that, but our diplomats also recorded Hainanian Diplomats saying that they would invade JI rather than face the Soviets. That is all I have to say other than Japanese Isles Armed Forces, stay strong, fight on, carry us safely through the war.

War Map according to the Japanese Isles

 Key:

Red Line: JIN Blockade Efforts

Maroon Squares: Major Fleet Battles

Reddish Spray: Medium missile bombardment

Red/sort of bright reddish Spray: Heavy missile bombardment

Teal Spray: EMP missiles

Yellow dots: Major bombing raids/Air Force clashes

There have been NO major troop movements by JI other than moving them to defensive positions and making large defenses in Korea and Taiwan.

Japanese Isles Homeland and SGP reactions to the war

The Japanese Isles Homeland and the SGPs have shifted to full war mode, as well as stating a program to recruit around 3 million into the military as a whole. The SGPs have also activated their own defense forces. This includes the Taiwanese Armed Forces, Korean Defense Force, and Nicaraguan Forces of Defense. The Taiwanese and Korean naval and air forces have helped the JIN and JIA blockade and bombard Hainan. JI diplomats have stated that if Hainan uses nuclear weapons, JI will respond accordingly to the target hit. So, if a nuclear bomb hits Fukuoka, the JIMC will launch a bomb to destroy a city of the same size.
