Doctors of the DIDC have observed and confirmed that the SVS-92 Virus has mutated.
After the outbreak aboard the Dutch cruise liner Noordam exploded to over 820 Infected within a matter of 2 days, Doctors with the Ministry of Health's Department of Infectious Disease Control, have confirmed that the SVS-92 Virus has mutated after observing a new symptoms and conducting new tests.
Dr. Jerome Jimenez of the DIDC's Emergency Task force aboard the Noordam has released in a press statement with the Ministry of Health. The Footage was very grainy and the sound lagging as the internet connection is very limited in the Nautical Quarantine zone off of Kodiak Island, but Dr. Jimenez has identified, In addition to the symptoms that we already know of the SVS-92 Virus below:
Intense Coughing
Dr. Jimenez and his team have observed 3 new symptoms that as of yet they cannot explain.
Dr. Jimenez and his team remarked at how the patients infected with the mutated Virus, almost seemed to want to infect others and spread the virus. The subjects who were infected with the mutated SVS-92 which staff have nicknamed the Noordam Virus after the ship it was discovered, have been isolated and under heavy restraints and all attempts to sedate the patients have had no results.
"SVS-92 is already a highly contagious virus, but with the addition of the almost animalistic desire to spread the virus, as any living thing would do to ensure its offspring survives and grows, make this a Highly dangerous situation. Although more manpower and security assistance is needed, 6 Marines and 3 medical staff have contracted the normal SVS-92 Virus. We-"
