Corsica claims Sicilly!

Following the conquest of the Balearic islands, Corsica went back into isolation, preparing for the next phase. Now, Corsica claims Sicilly. Luckily, there are little to no other countries which also claim Sicilly, which should lead to a smooth integration without controversies like with the Balearic Islands. The annexation of Sicilly is a follow-up to the Mediterrenean Domination Campaign to help Corsica stabilize itself. However, this also brings many difficulties with it.

The idea of an Inquisition, to help better integrate annexed lands into the Croatian culture of Corsica and stop any rebellious activities, has been thrown around parliament as a solution to seperatists. While originally a small and unlikely solution, it has now become the biggest and likeliest competitor to become the solution for Corsica's rebel problems.

From Sardinia to the Balearic Islands and Sicilly the Inquisition will supress heretical practices, crimes against the state and overall rebel activities. Of course, the Inquisition has more than just this one goal. Apart from this, it will be used to stop the spread of general heresy and things that threaten the very nature of humanity.

This will likely soon be implemented on a wider scale. Sicilly will soon be fully integrated with Corsica.
