Luna prepares for war

Earlier today, the Lunar government was informed of a planned attack on our nation, to supposedly "cleanse" our population of the ones who live among us as friends and fellow Lunar citizens -- the furries.

For a long time, Luna has been allied with the Furry Empire, a nation that has done no harm but is still getting attacked for nothing but having citizens who aren't human. The actions of the Chaos Insurgency against us and our allies will not be permitted.

In response to the threat from the Insurgency, who have said, "Nations that are expected to be infiltrated and cleansed include but are not limited to: Nova Mundus, Luna, Cascadia, and the Canadian Federation," we will be fully preparing our military for war. Citizens are encouraged to locate the nearest bunker, which are still equipped with supplies from the last time we had a situation like this one.

And, as some may remember, we have weapons stored somewhere in our nation, weapons that we have only had to use once in our entire existence -- when we were invaded by the United Anarchist Nations. But the virus we brought out that day is nothing compared to what we have in store for the Chaos Insurgency in the event that they attack us. 

President Aquilla has issued this statement to the Chaos Insurgency:

"You're never going to get away with an attack on us. I wouldn't even attempt it if I were you. Because, if you do, you're not going to walk out of this thing unscathed. Your cities will be burnt to the ground, the air poisoned and filled with smoke. Even the ruins of Lyra will be nothing compared to what the Insurgency looks like when we are through. Of course, we will be merciful towards the civilians; we do not hurt the innocent unless it is impossible to avoid it. So, your citizens are free to seek refuge in Luna as long as they do not make any attempt to harm our nation. But The Engineer and all his allies will fall. And as much as I want your violent, destructive ways to end, I wouldn't want to make your government collapse. Not yet, at least. We're a lot stronger than you realize. And you're never going to take us down."
