Akroatia is a nation in southeast europe that constitutes the Western Coast of Slovenia with reaching Istria and the Frulian Coast.

Etymology

The nations name comes from the Greek word ἀκροατής (Akroatis), which means listener or hearer. Since they were known to the Greeks as very helpful and keen listeners they often were mentioned as such, and since then have adopted that title (Thereby also disproving they are also related to Croatians.)

History

"Arriving from modern-day Uttar-Pradesh to Europe in the middle of the 5th century, they mostly intermixed with the Iranians in their travels, specifically  the Kalmyks and Scythians, Before arriving in Europe, where they intermixed with the Friulians, though less so than with the Iranian and Mongolic Peoples. And a bit with the Illyrians. They were Semi-Nomadic Peoples, who herded sheep and other livestock, only deciding to stay once they reached Europe and establishing villages. Although some were wary of them due to their Non-Christian faith.

Before long, however, they were conquered by the Byzantine, although allowing them to keep alot of traditions, they were pressured to convert to Christianity. Although this manifested in some light Syncretism.

Then after their Freedom and the Collapse of the Byzantine Empire they were Constantly attacked by the Ottomans, however with help from Rebels, Foreign Mercenaries and Heavy Guerrila Warfare they won every single one, before they were conquered by the Austrians, then The Italians and Yugoslavs, and then The Slovenians, Croatians and Italians. After the Collapse of all the Worlds Nations on August 5th, 2014 they became Semi-Nomatic again before creating their own state." -Akroati Factbook

Religion

Most Akroatis follow Zorastrianism, an ancient religion of which Akroatia is one of the few places it is still practiced. The basic origins and principles as taught by Zoroaster, a man born in ancient persia who is revered as the messenger of Ahura Mazda. They believe that there is an endless cosmic battle between the supreme god of good and creator of the universe and all good Ahura Mazda and The evil spirit Angra Mainyu. They believe that all beings have free will between good and evil but that all should engage in good speech, thought and work.

Other religions practiced include Apostolic Orthodoxy, Islam and Hinduism.

People and Economy

Though nice and welcoming, they are poor. but not for long as economic growth is rapidly increasing along with prosperity. Despite certain challenges, the future looks good......
