Long ago, in an age of chaos and shadow, a radiant being known only as The First Celestian descended upon the world beneath a sky ablaze with falling stars. Legends tell that he bore wings of gold and a voice that silenced tempests. He was not a warlord, but a shepherd of divine order, claiming no throne but commanding the loyalty of those who yearned for peace, clarity, and purpose.
Guided by visions from the Celestial Plane, The First Celestian gathered the fractured peoples of the northern highlands and unified them under a single banner — the Kingdom of Caelum, named after the heavens from which he claimed to descend.
With the blessing of the gods of light, he established Caelum’s Laws, a code rooted in justice, honor, and reverence for the divine. The kingdom’s capital, Altavallis — “The High Valley” — was built atop a sacred plateau where starlight touches the earth even at midday.
Over centuries, the royal bloodline of House Celestian became synonymous with celestial authority. They ruled not as mere monarchs, but as Divine Regents, believed to carry fragments of the First Celestian’s soul.
The kingdom’s sacred guardian, the Celestial Griffin known as Aurelios, is said to have appeared at the founding, a beast of flame and wind that protects the skies above Caelum.

The Radiant Host is divided into three branches:
• Legio Regalis Caelestis — elite palace defenders and protectors of the royal family. Clad in gilded armor and trained in celestial rites, they are both warriors and ceremonial icons. Every member is handpicked and considered a living extension of the King’s will.
•The Seraphine Legion — the main standing army, composed of disciplined infantry and air-trained scouts. These legions are trained to operate in the highland terrain and often march with hymns rather than war chants.
•The Order of Aurelios — a sacred knightly order believed to be descended from the original disciples of the First Celestian.
