It was unknown how the Original Poi Empire collapsed, it was both sudden and gradual, some say it was due to the wars it was faced, and how the Supreme Leader of the empire disappeared. Theories ranging from the Supreme Leader being assassinated, to hilarious theories of the Supreme Leader trying to find better work.
Regardless, the past is past, Poi Capitolyo, the original capital of the Poi Empire, rises back from the ruins of the empire and aims to rebuild what was lost. With the shock and jubilation of the people, Supreme Leader RobertPoi returns from exile, and seeks to claim the reigns of the Empire once again.

Thus declared, this day, April 18, 2113 (Orbis date) the Resurgent Poi Empire has been established.
After the establishment of the Resurgent Poi Empire, Supreme Leader RobertPoi has issued his Imperial Order #2, establishing the Poi Ministry of Historical Recollection and Preservation to scour the ruins of the empire and rediscover as many details and historical facts of the old Poi Empire that can be recovered.
After a few days, the Resurgent Poi Empire has successfully integrated back with Weebunism, with Supreme Emperor RobertPoi pledging full allegiance to the alliance. Due to the peculiar situation, the Resurgent Poi Empire would have to climb back up the ranks to prove itself once again.
GOVERNMENTAL STRUCTURE AND MINISTRIES
Resurgent Poi Empire's government is an absolute monarchy, the Supreme Emperor's power encompasses all branches of government.
LEGISLATIVE
-High Council of the Supreme Emperor (Head of all branches of government, capable of passing or vetoing any legislation, send out emergency decrees for the executive, and can affect results of court proceedings)
-Imperial Poi Parliament (Law making body for day-to-day, parliament votes can still be vetoed by the Supreme Emperor)
EXECUTIVE
-Ministry of Historical Recollection and Preservation (In charge of historical rediscovery as well as piecing together the history of the First Poi Empire which collapsed 4 years ago after inactivity)
-Ministry of Truth and Deceit (Propaganda ministry and in charge of spreading information OR misinformation, both to the citizens and to the rest of the world)
-Ministry of Economic Development (Industrial and Agricultural development, and city planning)
-Ministry of Research and Advancements (Government projects and military research)
-Ministry of Health and Society (In charge of regulation of pollution as well as health and welfare)
JUDICIARY
-Imperial Poi Supreme Court (Civilian and Military Courts, led by High Arbitrator, but in special cases, the Supreme Emperor will serve as judge, jury, and executioner)

-The currency of the collapsed Poi Empire still used in circulation, the Poi Peso was reinstated and recognized as official currency of the Resurgent Poi Empire
-The original Poi Empire was previously a part of an old alliance, "Weebunism" and may have fought together with its members during GW16 (source: Weebunism discord channel, was part of #gw16 chat) , Documents also show previously extensive trade with another nation part of that alliance called the "United Archipelago".
-The original Poi Empire was a Dictatorship, under the Supreme Leader, the Supreme Leader wishes to reform his government into an absolute monarchy in order to "Look more refined while ruling over ruins at the time being"
-Supreme Leader wishes to reestablish communications with the Alliance, as well as notable close allies it had during that time.

-details of the history of the former Poi Empire remains hard to decipher, preliminary studies of military ruins does indicate that despite having anti-nuclear batteries the former Poi Empire was nuked several times

Historical rediscovery log [May 3, 2113, Orb dt]
-documents gathered form ruins of the old capital (an old notepad file in my documents folder) as well as recon of surrounding areas confirm that the old Poi Empire had at least 14 cities before its collapse, with its original economy dedicated to iron and steel manufacturing. Ancient City planning blueprints are now being studied and the Supreme Leader aims to slowly adapt these documents to future city planning.

As of April 18, 2113 (Orbis date) the militia forces and peacekeeping forces of the Resurgent Poi Empire was organized as its official armed forces, aimed at maintaining order and stability in the Capital.
The establishment of the Imperial Poi Army, Air Forces, and Navy was facilitated to expand the military forces of the Resurgent Poi Empire. Under the orders of the Supreme Emperor the new armed forces were set up in accordance to the requirements set by the alliance.
General Kyun was chosen to lead the ground forces, Commander Popi to lead the Air forces, and Admiral Momi leading the naval forces. |
