Overview

Amphoreus, also known as The Eternal Land, is an isolated place governed by the Chrysos Heirs, and was once in a state of chaos until the Titans emerged from the remnants of the gods.

History

Era Luminosa

In the beginning, only existed chaos, from which "existence" was created, a jumbled mess where fate's threads wrap chaos' nectar, bearing fruit. The primal Coreflame ignites within this fruit.

From it emerged Janus, the first Titan, who defined the world's boundaries. Talanton followed, causing law, and balance. Oronyx, last of the three, brought forth time.

Georios was born next, and from them came Aquila and Phagousa. And separately, Kephale emerged when lightning struck the earth and would later create the first humans.

Era Creatura

Cerces then appeared, followed by the awakening of Georios.

Aquila created the Dawn Device and gifted it to Kephale and they introduced the Light Calendar. At the year 306, the first civilizations rose near Kephale’s presence, and Janus unraveled the threads of destiny, securing safe travel across Amphoreus.

Era Chrysea

Talanton introduced Balance Coins to Amphoreus. This golden age ended with the birth of Thanatos, bringing mortality to Amphoreus. Aidonia became the first city to suffer death.

Era Bellica

Following Thanatos birth, the calamities of aging, sickness, and starvation also swept across the land.

The Titans Zagreus and Nikador were born, and began to bring the world into calamity. At the same time, the black tide descended upon Amphoreus.

Nikador and Aquila clashed across Amphoreus. And by 2506, Castrum Kremnos dynasty began.

By Year 3740, Mortis gave birth to Tribios, and a decade later her mother would be assassinated.

In 3760, Tribios took on Janus fate and stole the Coreflame of Passage from Janusopolis, ascending as the demigod of Passage.

She then shattered into a thousand pieces, spreading a prophecy about the Chrysos Heirs, those fated to reclaim the god's Coreflames.

The first Chrysos War began in 3770, lasting for a century. It was reignited again in 3867. During this, Janusopolis fell, where only three Tribios fragments survived. Later on, Corinth, Loukas, and Icaria laid siege to Okhema, but was stopped by Cerydra and Hysilens. Cerydra then overthrew the Council of Elders and, with her army, began conquering nearby cities and ending the Chrysos War. She later issued an edict proclaiming the realization of Kephale's prophecy.

In the Year 3870, Seliose, seeing the strife between the Skyfolk, defeated Aquila alongside Lunabis and Solabis, which sparks the Flame-Chase Journey, with the goal of finally bringing peace to the Skyfolk. However, Seliose's goal had failed, and the strife still continued among her people. Witnessing this, Seliose gave up on humanity, and merged with Aquila, casting aside her own humanity. She sent Lunabis and Solabis to execute everyone. But one Skyfolk Chrysos Heir promised she would ensure that Seliose's epics passed down through her descendants till the end, until her descendants will return in the Eye of Twilight to prove that imperfect and flawed mortals can save the world.

Eventually, Cerydra becomes the demigod of Law, Hysilens becomes the demigod of Ocean, and Terravox becomes the demigod of Earth.

Cerydra then gathered an immense force of warriors, scholars, priests, from all corners of the land. Named the "Flame-Chase Army", and led the army to embark on the campaign which would become known as the First Flame-Chase Journey.

However, due to unknown circumstances, the Flame-Chase Army suffered a heavy defeat. Due to this Cerydra disappeared.

Era Erasa

Around the Year 3930, Aglaea became the demigod of Romance, followed by Cipher, the demigod of Trickery, a century later. Disguised as Atticus, Cipher propagates the lie that the Dawn Device can support Okhema forever. With the divine authority of Trickery, she turned this lie into reality, supporting Okhema for an extra thousand years.

In 4919, the Grove of Epiphany's schools unified under the Seven Sages system, balancing autonomy and order.

Castorice, Mydei and Hyacine would then be later recruited by Aglaea to aid in the Flame-Chase Journey.

Okhema, also known as "The Eternal Holy City", mostly worships Kephale, the Worldbearing Titan. Although many followers of other Titans can be found.

Before the Black Tide, Okhema had vast influence across Amphoreus, commanding numerous vassal states that stretched as far as the horizon. Today, it continues to serve as an international hub in Amphoreus.

Among its many landmarks is the Marmoreal Palace, home to Okhema's Bathhouse, a sacred site where people go to enjoy the blessings of Phagousa.

High above the city is where Kephale slumbers, holding the Dawn Device, which keeps the city safe.

And according to ancient legends, Okhema was the first civilization to rise in Amphoreus.

Government of Amphoreus

The government of Amphoreus is split into two parts: the Chrysos Heir and the Council of Elders. Currently, Okhema's Council of Elders has temporarily transferred their power to Aglaea and the Chrysos Heirs due to the dire situation in Amphoreus.

The Chrysos Heirs are a group of individuals with great power that rose up after the Titans of Amphoreus fell. Fused with "golden ichor," some of these individuals, according to the Prophecy from the Worldbearing Titan, Kephale, are tasked with plucking the Coreflames from the Titans, also called as "Flame-Chase."
