Foundation

After the loss of the Weltkrieg, our glory was stolen, the Weimar Republic was weak. Rosa Luxemburg established our resistance in 1920, and set up militias to garrison Allensburg. Allensburg would be the starting point of the Brugerkrieg, we had begun gathering support among workers in the nearby Ruhr, which was easy due to the economic depression. In 1923, our influence spanned the Ruhr and communist-simpythyzing Bavaria and Austria. We began the revolt in late 1923, and took control of the south and the Ruhr, we began our march to encircle the government in Dortmund.

The Revolution

We would go on to win the battle of Dortmund, securing the Ruhr, and we would easily march to Magdeburg, then suddenly, we hit a wall, hundreds of thousands of government troops stationed from Bremen to the Bohemian border. We outgunned and outnumbered them but the masterful fortifications held us back. We decided our best bet was to blow them out of their fortifications. We slaughtered their men, and sent them running to Berlin. We had sent 50k men after the center army and occupying western Berlin and shelling the reichstag, forcing the surrender of the weak Weimar on June 13th, 1925.

Politics:

The Volksrat is our head of state, functioning similiar to the Reichstag or the US Congress. The Volksrat contains two seats per Volkstaat. The 42 Volkstaats will each have 2 seats making 84 seats in the Volksrat. The current majority is the SPD-KPD as it's always been. The other smaller disorganized parties have some but small influence in the political sphere. It is in the Volks constitution that we cannot outlaw any party. The current Volksfurher is Alfred Konracht, a Democratic Syndicalist. This is his 4th and last term as Volksfurher. Our democratic elements have allowed us to survive for almost 100 years. We have succeeded where other states don't.
