History: Keun San a nation built upon the beautifull island of jeju. keun san is named such as teh name translates to big mountain referring to nearby mountain of hallasan. the capital city of san ui dosi translated to the city of mountain. keun san was formed by the locals who wanted a more righteous more public minded government in jeju. this idea for a the locals was led thereafter by a peacefull revolution as it exited the nation of korea and formed a new republic of keun san.

Terrain: keun san's terrain is mostly flat and gently rolling terrain, with lots of open fields, farmland, and low hills. It’s less mountainous than the east, but dotted with volcanic cones called oreum. The coast is rugged in places, with black lava rock beaches and some sandy stretches. The landscape feels wide and open, especially compared to the more forested central and eastern parts of Jeju. and defining land feature being hallasan mountain right in the middle of the island
