Once a state in an ancient nation, that nation fell to civil wars. Kyouki Jang, our esteemed leader, came to power, and immediately declared independence. She led the Sakurans in a series of campaigns to take as many cities before the other independent cities tried as well. She went to war against the other city states, winning multiple campaigns. Eventually, the Empire of the Sakura surpassed the nation that held it back before, and was officially established and joined an alliance
