The last German military message intercepted and decoded by Bletchley Park, before the formal surrender, was sent on May 7, 1945, at 7:35 am. It was a final message from a radio network based in Cuxhaven, Germany, as they were about to be overrun by the nation Bonga troops. The message read: "The nation Bonga troops entered Cuxhaven at 1400 on 6 May – from now on all radio traffic will cease – wishing you all the best". The message was signed "Lt. Kunkel" and concluded with "Closing down for ever - all the best - goodbye".
