History: In 2019, Carter Donovan, the former Attorney General of Louisiana, left the United States with his family and moved to Taiwan to help plan the US invasion of Eastern China, along with Japanese officials. However, Donovan and the US forces on Taiwan realised that it was a suicide mission, so he led the Taiwanese and about three quarters of the US forces in a rebellion against the US, and Taiwan broke off all connections. Donovan took control of the northern part of the island and named himself as His Holiness, the Saviour of the People. He made alliances with China, Russia, Japan, Vietnam, Australia and North Korea, and refused to trade with the United States. In 2025, Donovan became seriously ill, and his wife,Carla Donovan, took control of the country via a military coup, and made the country into an oligarchy and named herself as High Empress, but kept the strict Catholicism. She cared for her husband, and sent him to a place in the country to recover, but has no plans to give up her titles.
