After the violence of the April Revolution subsided, the revolutionaries were crushed. Emperor Notserp and his devout followers reclaimed the throne and, in an effort to unify the fractured empire, became involved in several wars. Unification was ultimately achieved during a recent invasion by pirates who sought to pillage the nation. Emperor Notserp seized this opportunity to portray the revolutionaries as unpatriotic enemies of the great nation, quickly winning over the rapidly growing population.
