POLICIES OF THE UNITED COLONIES OF AMERICA

-Cannabis

• Cannabis, even medical, is strictly against the law and punishable by fine or jail time
• $500 per ounce or 5 years minimum of jail time(determined by amount find at time of arrest)

-Military service

• An individual, when they turn 18, is mandated to a 1 year military service(3 month basic training, 3 month tech school, 6 months duty) if they qualify, if such disqualifiers are not permanent, the individual will serve their 1 year of service when they can qualify(does not apply to the disabled)
• After the 1 year is over, an individual can decide to reenlist, or leave and return to a civilian lifestyle
• Voluntary enlistment only takes place after the 1st year of mandatory military service
• An individual has the RIGHT to choose which branch they serve in, and what military occupation they so choose(must choose a job they qualify for)
• Mandatory military service members who do not reenlist are NOT recognized as veterans by the federal government and therefore must return all issued uniform and gear back to the government
• Mandatory military service members do not get the same benefits that voluntary enlistees do such as free healthcare, free housing on base, veterans day benefits, etc, unless they reenlist after 1 year military service(such benefits for people who do not reenlist are only available during 1 year mandatory service)
• However voluntary enlistment is still a thing, minimum contract of voluntary enlistment is 4 years, maximum is 8(takes place after 1 year of mandatory service)
• Military base pay whether voluntary or in a 1 year mandatory service is $30K a year, every two years, every soldier, sailor, airmen, or marine, gets a pay increase of $8K
• Service members who complete 15 years of service or more will receive retirement fund(25% of final salary) each year after retiring 
• Mandatory military service only applies to men, female military service is completely voluntary
• Military members are free to return to a civilian lifestyle when they so choose(at the end of current contract)
• Members who have voluntary reenlisted get military benefits for life, excluding free housing on base
• Military budget is aprox $897B a year

-Death Penalty

• Death penalty is legal in this country
• The death penalty is only used in cases of 1st degree murder

-Education

• The government will pay for students education, only for our highest performing students
• Students must meet a 3.8 GPA or higher and have good behavior history to qualify

-Prohibition

• Any consumption or sale of alcohol in this country is illegal
• Punishable by $2000 fine or 1 year in jail

-Energy

• Our countries law states that we seek clean energy and stop pollution for a clean healthy environment

-Assisted Suicide

• Assisted suicide in this country is immoral and very illegal
• Punishable by life sentence

-Gay and Lesbian Marriage

• Gay and Lesbian marriage in this country is viewed as immoral
• Punishable by $10000 fine or 5 years in jail minimum

-Worker Unions

• Workers that wish to form a union are protected from losing their job
• Any attempt by superiors to stop a union will be met by losing their job and a $5000 fine

-Campaign Finance

• The government is allowed to limit a corporation, individual, and union donations to political campaigns
• Our country uses this system to prevent corruption in our government

-Free speech

• All citizens, no matter color, creed, religion, or gender, are granted the right to free speech
• This is guaranteed by the first amendment in our constitution
• However, threatening to kill political figures is highly illegal and not protected by the first amendment
• As well, burning, or mistreating the American flag is not protected by the first amendment and is punishable by a $20000 fine or a year in prison, (IF the American flag is accidentally dropped on the ground, the proper ritual is to fold it into a triangle and bury it in the ground, burning is NO longer the proper way to dispose)

-"Hard" drugs

• The use of "hard" drugs is highly illegal
• This even includes basic cigars, cigarettes, and vapes are highly illegal
• Any individual caught in possession or use, will have to pay a $5000 fine, or 5 years in jail

-Spending

• Borrowing money is not allowed and the government must maintain a balanced budget

-Infant circumcision

• Parents hold the right to circumcise their baby if they please

-Private Property

• Every person has a right to private property
• Only lands that are kept public are national parks and neighborhood streets
• Every supermarket, hospital, and other industries are all privately owned, not by the government

Encroachment laws

• Every person has the right to defend their property, family, etc from criminals
• Any death caused by such person is viewed as an act of self defense

-Immigration

• ANY illegal immigration into this country is highly illegal and you will be shot if you try and cross our border
• If you are caught in this country illegally you will face a life sentence in jail with no due process
• Legal entry is always welcome, 5 years minimum in the UCA to get your citizenship
• Dual citizenship is not allowed

-Gun rights

• Citizens are allowed to own a number of firearms
• Backround checks are required to purchase a weapon
• Owning a gun is protected by the second amendment
• Military vehicles and explosives are illegal to own
• Hunting is allowed in all states(must have a license)

-Torture

• The government will torture an individual IF AND ONLY IF they are attempting to get vital war information out of them
• The government will NEVER torture a UCA citizen
• Torture only applies to enemy soldiers(NEVER opposing nations civilians)

-Religion

• The government endorses the Catholic and Orthodox faith
• However, there is no requirement to practice as stated in the first amendment
• Islam in banned in this country, any practice of Islam is punishable by a life sentence

-Healthcare

• The Healthcare industry in not run by the government and is a private system
• However, the government does regulate insurance, an individual who can pass a drug test qualifies for health insurance, at a expense of $7000 a year

-Polygamy

• Polygamy in this country is highly illegal
• Marriage in this country is between a consenting woman and man
• Punishable by $5000 fine or 10 years in jail

-Taxes

• There is no income tax in this country, our country relies on other sources of income such as tariffs, sales tax, and property tax
• Corporate tax rate in this country is set to 23%

-Abortion

• Abortion is viewed as a highly immoral act
• Allowed under the circumstance of r@pe, inc3st, or life of the mother
• Any abortion not under the circumstance is punishable by 30 years in jail

-Welfare

• Any person in poverty in this country that can pass a drug test, and a criminal backround check is eligible for welfare programs
• Elderly and disabled people are automatically eligible
• Welfare checks are set to $2500 a month

-Miranda Rights/Due process

• Every citizen has the right to remain silent, anything they say can be used against them in the court of law
• Every citizen has the right to a free trial, and a appointed judge if they can not afford one
• Our country uses Miranda rights to protect our citizens from tyranny

-Police Reform

• Our police programs receive massive funding, including ICE and SWAT
• Every cop is issued a standard cop uniform, a 9mm sidearm, and an M4 Rifle
• Must be 21 to join the police force

-Gerrymandering

• Gerrymandering districts is highly illegal and any state governer who attempts to do so will be arrested
• Punishable by 10 years in prison

-Government Policy

• A presidential term is 4 years, you are allowed to serve for 2 terms
• Elections every four years
• Congress now faces term limits, allowed to serve four terms, elections for congress are every two years
• Must be 35 years of age, be born in the UCA, and have a clean criminal backround to run for presidential office or congressional office
• All proposed bills by the president must be passed in the House and the Senate before heading to the presidents desk to be signed into law
• Executive Orders are NOT considered bills, and the president can sign them as he pleases
• Any declaration of war is voted by the Senate and the House(military operations such as midnight hammer do not qualify)
