The Socialist Democratic People's Republic of France (SDPRF) was established following intense social and economic turmoil in the early 1990s. Widespread unemployment, labor unrest, and inequality fueled public disillusionment with the ruling conservative government. This unrest gave rise to the French Socialist Party (FSP), led by charismatic General Secretary Furina de France, who tapped into the frustrations of the working class.

By 1995, under President Jean-Paul Lafont, France’s economy was collapsing, leading to a crisis of legitimacy. On May 1, 1995, a coup led by Marshal of the Army Neuvilette, a key military ally of Furina, was launched. Army units loyal to the FSP stormed the Élysée Palace, while communist paramilitaries and unions seized control of Paris. President Lafont was exiled and within days, the FSP declared the formation of the SDPRF. Furina formed the La Garde Rouge (Red Guards) as her personal elite force, commanded by Colonel General Clorinde, and established the Politburo of the French Socialist Party.
