The Kingdom of Aris is a mountain nation protected by the Threefold Crown—Mount Veyr, Karadros, and Sulen. Its capital, Arees, lies carved into stone, unreachable by force. Aris is ruled by Highstone Draco III, a King of the absolute monarchy and Warden of the Ridgeway Creed, the faith of Drakorrin, god of ridges and silence. All law is sacred, carved into stone, and enforced by the Vowkeepers. War is rare and only declared through sacred rite, but Aris is feared for its unbreakable defense and elite Crimson Ridge warriors. Its core laws forbid oathbreaking, blasphemy on peaks, and foreign rule. Trade and diplomacy are welcome to those who honor ridge vows. To betray Aris is to awaken the mountain’s wrath
