Emebedhe is historically a tiny nation; originally formed from a band of tribes to contest the oppression of Lian.

The orange symbolizes the fire that ravaged the nation set by Lian, with the blue representing the river that stopped the spread. The black symbolizes the charred ground and destroyed villages. 

To the right, the stars reference Szo's flag, which contains interlocking stars. Szo is the nation that helped the fleeing Embedda survive the war.
