Today, the Wabanaki Confederacy is home to many groups, including the Abenaki, Penobscot, the Passamoquoddy, the Maliseet and the Mi‘kma’ki. The tribes work together to fend off against attackers and to raid hostile nations. 
 

French influence can still be found throughout the nation. However, traditional languages are mostly spoken.
