History: The nation of Poltranat began as a village situated off the Gulf of Schumann. The gulf provided the people with the water and resources necessary to grow, and more villages sprouted out. The original nation that formed here was named Potran, named after the Gregian goddess of luck. However, this nation met a grisly end when the invaders of Redrille invaded from the southeast, and decimated the population. However, some remained, and they became subjects of the Redrillian Empire. After the empire's collapse, the people regrouped into a new nation, based on the original name : Poltranat.

Terrain: The nation of Poltranat is very flat, coastal areas situated between multiple bodies of water, including rivers, lakes, and bays. The muddy terrain is perfect for growing rice and related crops. The surrounding waters are calm and peaceful, and the flat plains of the nation make it a great place for building.
Highest Peak: Roger's Hill, 7,823 meters
Lowest Valley: Devil's Crater, -267 meters
Climate: The climate varies from time of year, with rough, cold winters to relaxing summers. Crops die out in the mid and late winter months, but thrive in the spring and summer. The rains come with the heat wave in about early April, where the temperature rises from about 40 degrees Fahrenheit to above 65 degrees. However, this only stays for a few months, as the temperature can top 75 in August. Then the cold-fronts come in during September and October, dropping the temperatures into the 30s, which then slowly fall to below 0.
