History: After the oppressing polices brought by the Indian Government which were highly discriminative against the south, a revolution rose in the southern part of India. It was a devastating civil war which lasted from 2068 to 2069. The Southern Regions were given autonomy and were freed form the Indian Union. But peace did not last for long as a united South Nation vanished and the region was divided up into hundreds of smaller nations. Out of these nations was The Free State of Chennai. Chennai was divided up into two, the north havin9g a republic and the south having a communist regime. Peace, again did not last for long as a war broke out between the Free State of Chennai and the United states of Dravida. In the end the Free State of Chennai won the war and banished the communists into the hills. In 2072, a coup was staged against the Chennai government and the communists rose to power and creating, The United States of Dravida. It did not last for long as, after 2 years in 2075, another coup overthrew the communist out of power and the 2nd free State of Chennai was established.
In 2090 after the elections, Rithish who had been the only president of the nation decided to change the name of the country to, The Republic of South India and declared the motive of the nation to unite the divided South India.
