History: The Armed Forces of the Socialist Republic of Tagna were established on 02-07-2022 following the proclamation of the Socialist Republic of Tagna by the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Tagna. Formerly known as the People's Revolutionary Forces, they were the main forces behind the socialist revolution in Tagna ,along with other socialist and communist groups, in the overthrowing of the previous authoritarian and imperialist regime in an armed uprising. It comprises of three branches as of now:- Red Army, Red Air Force & Red Navy. The government describes the armed forces' main duty as 'To protect the workers' and farmers' revolution and to safeguard the world from exploitation by aggressive powers and to maintain peace and prosperity for all'.
