History:	This nation's beginnings date back to 1976, when a group of 10 anonymous founders created a nation known as "Legionaries." This was only after almost 4 hours of arguing and the name was only come up with a truce. The 10 Founders agreed to declare war on other nations only if the enemy nation attacked first. This worked for about 3 years, until the nation became almost bankrupt. To make matters worse, a band of commoners formed the New Legionaries, promising food, money, and stability. The 10 Founders made themselves their own group named the Loyalists in response to the New Legionaries. This began the First Civil War, and the Loyalists, after a hard fought 5 years, pushed the New Legionaries out. However, this victory came at a price. The war policy shifted to raiding and became a pirate nation. In the short term, this worked well, with the economy improving. Unfortunately, international relations were damaged, and an alliance of 5 nations agreed unanimously to embargo the Legionaries. This only made matters worse, and the war policy ended after 3 years with a letter from a military general who expressed concern for their soldiers. The last war policy became a peaceful one, but unfortunately this is where the end had come for the Legionaries. Roughly 750,000 commoners and nobles rose up in rebellion against the Legionaries aided by the 5 nations that had embargoed the country. To make matters worse, the New Legionaries returned with a thirst for vengeance. The Iron Fists, who promised a strong government and the War Hawks, who promised to launch an offensive against the 5 nations to restore the economy formed out of the chaos. The capital, Legion City was ransacked and was burned to the ground, and a group of Iron Fists, the Hybrids separated from them due to them wanting more moderate policies. The War Hawks crushed a Loyalist army and burned 3 major cities to the ground. After 10 years, the Loyalists were destroyed and the 10 Founders were never seen again. In 2020, the New Legionaries were destroyed, and 6 months later, the War Hawks collapsed due to repeated losses against the Iron Fists. 2 sides remained, and through spies, the Iron Fists surrendered after another 3 months of fighting. The Republic of the Hybrids was formed, but a military coup in June of 2022 formed the Hybrid Empire, finally ending the chaos of the Civil War.

History:	The military of the Hybrid Empire is comprised mostly of the veterans that served during the Legionaries' Civil War, with almost 90% of the veterans having been converted from the fallen factions. This has shrunk since the coup to overthrow the Republic of the Hybrids which resulted in 60,000 veterans combined from both sides having perished in that war. Most of the military's weapons was from the Legionaries' old military weapons though they are slowly being phased out in favor of newer technology. The 1st Army Regiment is particularly well known for using the older rifles and submachine guns, preferring to use them due to familiarity.
