The Kingdom of Marin was founded by Lord Nathan16playz of the Duchy/City-State of Marinland. The Kingdom, born from the ashes of the war torn Empire of Ushiwakamaru became its new successor state as the once small duchy emerged victorious in the power struggle between the other kingdoms and duchies of the Empire. Although the Kingdom is currently no where near as powerful as the Empire at its peak, the Kingdom of Marin strives to regain the power and prestige that was lost after the Empire’s collapse. Its current king, King Stuka1935 “Stukaz” Dupont, son of the late King Nathan, strives to someday restore the Ushiwakamaru Empire to its former glory

History: The Kingdom of Marin finds it's roots in the ancient Grand Duchy of Marin. This old duchy was conquered by neighboring Ushiwakamaruians, a people similar to the Marinians only differing in their ruling monarchies. The Duchy was reduced to the city of Marinland and a bunch of small towns and cities while majority of Marin's core states were annexed directly into Ushiwakamaru, including Lobelia City, which would serve as the Imperial Capital until the Empire's eventually collapse.

During the collapse, the duchy would take advantage of the grave disorganisation of Ushiwakamaruian Armed Forces, allowing the Marinians to capture Lobelia City and it's vast military stockpile and arsenal with the help of rebelling Marinians in Ushiwakamaru core territories. The armed forces was established and it's forces reorganized and the march was on, with Marinians defeating revolting Prussians, Blumundians, and Tempestian, with the three duchies eventually surrendering and joining the Duchy of Marin. With this rapid expansion and newfound power as supported by three other central duchies, declared itself a kingdom. The Empire has long collapsed yet it's former territories are still fighting in smaller scales. Nevertheless the Kingdom of Marin stands as an honourable successor state to the Empire. Till this day, the Kingdom is trying to reunite the Empire through diplomatics means instead of using war as it did in it's formative stages.

Terrain: The northern regions of the country is marked by rocky and cliff like terrains with some lower regions such as the Upper Waifuian River Valley. Southern regions of the country was more flat and more or less in the shape of small hills.

Lowest Valley: Upper Waifuian River Basin, 69 meters
Climate: The kingdom exhibits a generally cold and dry climate with temperatures ranging between -20 degrees Celsius to 25 degrees Celsius with an average temperature of 16 degrees. This sort of climate forced the country to import most of it's food stores.

Raw materials production is centered around Uranium, Coal, and Iron, with the coal and iron being used in the country's vast steelworks centers.
Military
History: The armed forces traces it's roots to the ancient Marinian guard which was the small, local defense force of the former duchy. It's more modern roots are found during the collapse of the Ushiwakamaruian Empire where due to imperial ineptitude and lack of coordination, allowed for the seizure of massive military stockpiles at the Imperial Capital of Lobelia City by the advancing ragtag paramilitary of the Duchy of Marin. Military assets and weaponry were distributed and the armed forces were promptly organized and established before the conquest of Ushiwakamaru began.
