History: Doves had been living on the islands very far back before the islands were even islands, and then slowly they formed to what they are today. Before the Doven Kingdom, the islands had been having troubled times as they had been ruled by many people with iron, as they seek the wealth these islands had. The only reason this had stopped was because the Royal Family of the now Doven Kingdom, which with the support of all doves had managed to form their own Kingdom, which has been prospering ever since then.

Terrain: Doven is an archipelago of more than 12 islands, as well as islets and rocks situated where the northeastern Caribbean Sea meets the western Atlantic Ocean. These are called the Doven Islands, which is a partly volcanic island arc. To the north lies the Barbuda.

The two main islands are Row-Wing (west) and Doven-Wing (east), which form a butterfly shape as viewed from above, the two 'wings' of which are separated by the Grand Polven, Great Aol, and Great Kol. More than half of Doven's land surface consists of the 847.8 km2 Row-Wing. The island is mountainous, containing such peaks as Mount Doven (4,442 feet; 1,354 meters) and Grand Rohan (4,143 feet; 1,263 meters), culminating in the active volcano Dovon the highest mountain peak in the area with an elevation of 1,467 meters (4,813 ft). In contrast, Doven-Wing is mostly flat, with rocky coasts to the north, irregular hills at the center, mangrove at the southwest, and white sand beaches sheltered by coral reefs along the southern shore. This is where the main tourist resorts are found.

The beak is the third-largest island, followed by Woven a north-east slanted limestone plateau, the highest point of which is 275 meters (902 ft). To the south lies the, which are two small islands that remain unnamed.

Climate: The islands are part of the Doven Islands, so-called because they are downwind of the prevailing trade winds, which blow out of the northeast. This was significant in the days of sailing ships. Doven-Wing is so named because it is on the eastern, or windward side, exposed to the Atlantic winds. Row-Wing is so named because it is on the Doven south-west side and sheltered from the winds. Doven has a tropical climate tempered by maritime influences and Trade Winds. There are two seasons, the dry season called "Lon" from January to June, and the wet season called "Pon", from July to December.
