The Oceanic States of Areulia is a federal republic with a governmental structure similar to that of the late United States. It is a nation that spans across the entire continent of Oceania, thus giving way to the nation's full name, the Oceanic States of Areulia. It is comprised of 12 states along side the federal capital district of Sydney. The only land borders that the nation shares with is Estroesia, which borders the states of Timor and occupational territory of New Guinea. It is a mega diverse country which boasts a population of approximately 107 million. It's three largest metropolitan areas are Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. It's three most populous states are New South Wales, Victoria and New Holland

History:	Previously, Areulia was an Anarcho-Capitalist style land, pretty corrupt according to some people. It was later turned into a federation, not so democratic and was seen as more of a puppet under the council of 12 corporations. Soon, a grand collapse due to a power shortage and some wars, Areulia was left in the dust. One day however, a small fraction of one of the 12 corporations sprung up and re-established Areulia, planning to make a proper nation. Then when the nation was established, it made protecting Oceania one of it's core missions, even waging war to take this stance. And then recession hit, a grand one, but it kept going forward regardless. Hey, that's where we are now!
