History: In 1846, the first bricks were set into the desert, by 1850, the first pasta factory began production. Pasta has continued to be made here since then, with the factory undergoing several transformations. Today, Pastaland is the worlds' predominant pasta producer

Terrain: To the east lies the delivery zone, where raw pasta ingredients are brought in by plane every two hours. The workers here must work quickly, to ensure the factory is well supplied.
The raw ingredients are brought into the cookhouses, where they are mixed into pasta paste. This paste can then be piped to other parts of the factory.
In the northern part of the factory, the circular pasta is produced. The paste is spun around to ensure that the tubes do not collapse during the drying process.
Flatter pasta is created in the west wing, and in the south lies the research center. Research is constantly being undertaken in order to refine the pasta production process, the scientists are currently trying to synthesise pasta from sand.

Climate: The sheer size of the factory means that the climate can be controlled to be at a constant temperature. The temperature is slightly too cold to be comfortable, this is to ensure that the workers keep working, which will warm them up.
