History: The NWFL Independent-Republic was established after a group of United States- Law Enforcement Officials, Ex-military people, and government officials, seceded from the union in a swift and effective covert operation. This group established barriers and checkpoints cutting what used to be- Bay County, FL off from the United States. Hours later, the United States sent the National Guard to the checkpoints and attempted to breach the lines. They were met with overwhelming opposing force. The US government considered sending an entire entity in to retake the zone but after much deliberation congress and the President decided to instead impose strict sanctions on the area, in an attempt to strangle the economy and flush the hostiles out. Months turned into, years and the effort survived. The Coastal NWFL established their own economic system with the support of South American fish markets, and quickly became a nation-state.
