Gaea Corp is a private corporation that spans the entire world, with bases in many major cities of many different countries. Gaea Corp trades in resources of many kinds, particularly offering natural resources as well as military hardware and services, trading largely with governments on nationwide levels rather than just with other private corporations, and this is one of the many things that almost makes Gaea Corp a country in itself, along with its other aspects such as its own military and government, and even its own citizenry and laws, which apply within its several large bases around the world. All land and infrastructure within the several bases that make up Gaea Corp belong solely to it, with large areas of major cities being outright bought from countries by Gaea Corp, hence why Gaea Corp enforces its own laws, has its own government, and has its own citizens/employees who are subject to its laws, for it is completely free and separate from any nation and is forced to follow only international law, hence why it is the only corporation to be a member of the UN, as well as other multi-national organisations, such as the EU.
