Cossackia, officially the People's Democratic Republic of Cossackia, is a peninsular country in Southeast Asia. In the western Pacific Ocean and Southern Ocean, it consists of two territories which are broadly categorized in two main geographical divisions from north to south: Mainland Cossackia and Marie Byrdlandia. Cossackia is bounded by the South China Sea to the west, the Philippine Sea to the east, and the Celebes Sea to the south. It shares maritime borders with Taiwan to the north, Japan to the northeast, Palau to the east and southeast, Indonesia to the south, Malaysia to the southwest, Vietnam to the west, and China to the northwest. It also shares a land border with its closest neighbors, the Philippines, and Bangsamoro. Karlagrad-Karlinagrad is the country's capital, and its most populated city is Karlagrad; both are within Karlagrad-Karlinagrad.

In Cossackian folklore, the Goluboynan Cossacks were the first known descendants. In 1100, they were a nomadic group who roamed the steppes of Crimea and Novorossiya. Then they created a Kingdom based in Bohemia and southern Germany, named the Kingdom of Goluboyna. Then in the Russian Time of Troubles, they stormed through Moscow and captured the city from the Polish garrison, to create the Tsardom of Cossackia. In the 1730s, the Cossackian Tsar married the Queen of Poland to conquer Siberia, Romania, and Finland. Their empire was replaced with the Romanov monarchy until they were replaced in the 1860 Uprising. Cossackia then colonized parts of Africa and Asia, but unlike most empires at the time, they have little record of their abuses to the native populace. They then modernized and succeeded in the world stage even after the fall of the mainland Cossackian Empire in 1920. It went on to survive World War II and the Cold War. In 1972, Cossackia suddenly became a communist republic at the eve of the declaration of Martial Law by Marcos Sr.. It was then replaced with a democracy, following the referendum that ended in the abolition of the monarchy. It limped on until 1998, when it finally absorbed into the Philippines.

In modern history, Cossackia was established on August 1, 2018 as part of an independence movement led by Karla Soyokov. He succeeded in the elections to become governor of Misamis Oriental. Feeling to improve his region further, he declared independence to finally allow him and his leadership to give the people what they want. This non-violent independence from the Philippines was met with scrutiny, but ended up as a success as it finally acquired a modern government structure better than the Philippine's charter and the acquisition of Nuclear Energy. To this day, Cossackia remains to be an independent nation.
