In the fictitious world of Orbis there existed a continent that held thousands of other nations together. The former Empire of Meahghina (Fictitious) was a prosperous Empire that ruled over a lot of small colonies which largely contributed to its military and economy. Meahghina has excelled as a world superpower economically, politically, and in military. Despite Meahghina being a very prosperous Empire, the aristocracy of the Empire wanted to overthrow the ruling party and takeover the Empire itself. Though, the aristocracy didn't want to share its power so tensions raged between the colonies in which the aristocrats were from. One of those aristocrats was a Lord named Critechower of the colony of Xyanic (Ruled by Meahghina). Critechower wanted more than the power to control the entire nation, in-fact, Critechower wanted to rule the world since Meahghina was capable of doing so. Meahghina didn't have any powerful allies because other superpowers were against each other and waiting for their colonies to fight against them; Meahghina is among those superpowers that wanted the colonies of the other superpowers to rebel. Once the word reached the Emperor of Meahghina, the Emperor decided to take action and silence the aristocracy and relieve them of their power among their colonial grounds. Critechower was the first to hear of this news that the Emperor is doing a witch hunt. The witch hunt was also kept secret among the colonies, but that didn't stop the other superpowers from finding out about it. According to sources found inside the Critegrad, the other superpowers decided to publicize Meahghina's intentions. Once the news reached the aristocracy and the colonies of Meahghina only the colonies were surprised because the aristocrats already knew this was going to happen, though without the Meahghian army which consisted of loyal soldiers from the colonies, the aristocracy had no chance of winning. Only Critechower had a stand-alone private army because he was secretly trying to overthrow the Emperor by himself. The colony's aristocrats were one by one hanged because they were too late in trying to gain their people's support while those who had time to prepare had already been fighting battles in their respective colonial grounds, but of course they were no match for the well trained army of the Empire. Questions raised as to where they got their weapons so the Emperor closed the Department of Customs while the battle was still raging. Xyanic, despite being well prepared, was still outnumbered and out gunned. Meahghina was in chaos as no one expected the war to last for weeks. The other colonies were silenced and only a few are still fighting despite the silence. The plans of the aristocracy to remove the Emperor from command backfired badly and Meahghina was basically destroying itself by killing the population of the colonies that rebelled. A few weeks have passed the other colonies ceased to exist and the survivors were treated like they were from another Empire because they were taken to concentration camps where they slowly died. A few months have past and Meahghina, being a former superpower, slowly crumbled as its important colonies were destroyed. Only a few are left fighting and Xyanic was one of them. They didn't crumble because their soldiers was doing work it's because they have a good commander that defected to them because it is their homeland.

The other superpowers decided to intervene because they thought they could finally destroy Meahghina and take its place as the number one superpower. Meahghina being pressured by the citizens to stop the war due to lack of war support did not stop the war against its colonies. Then, a foreign superpower landed its soldiers on the soils of Meahghina. The Meahghinian Emperor is in shock that this is happening and decided to fight both wars against its colonies and a fresh foe. Of course, because of the war between master and colony, Meahghina was severely weakened and could not fight-off the new foe, therefore, collapsing under the hands of a foreign power. The colonies that are still fighting heard the news of what happened to the Empire and decided to open fire on the new threat thinking that they were enemies, but it turned out that they were not. The foreign nation accepted any diplomatic talks about the situation and is willing to give the colonies their freedom. The surviving colonies accepted and started their own nation. Despite the pointless war that happened, none of the aristocrats -Now called by the title they gave themselves due to them ruling the new independent nation- got what they wanted which was to rule the most powerful superpower in the world, but they all got something in common which was the freedom to rule their own nation.

The nation became from an Absolute Monarchy to a Democratic Republic, but the state still recognizes the authority of the former leader Critechow and appointed him as the first prime minister of Xyanic. This goes against the rules of a Democratic Republic but the state disregards the rules at first because it has yet to be practiced to the fullest.

It is still being debated whether the flag should be changed to a more friendlier look because the flag looks like the war flag of the German Empire.

History: The military force of Xyanic started when the aristocracy were planning to overthrow their ruling government of Meahghina. The military was not professional since it only composed of volunteers that Critechow has been building since the past years, it's more like a paramilitary group since the colonies of Meahghina were not allowed to have a military the ones that wanted to be in the military are to leave their homeland to pledge their allegiance to the Imperial Army of Meahghina.

The nation of Xyanic has undergone a state of disarmament of the military. The military is almost non-existent with its navy and most of the ground forces gone the Xyanic Monarchy has instituted an export focus trade policy and to greet its neighbors without any military hostilities. What is now left of the military of Xyanic is the Xyanic self-defense force (XSDF) which consists of volunteers, but are not allowed to engage any enemy on offensive warfare, and their armaments are to be used only to defend the Xyanic Monarchy. 14/01/2021 marked the end of the pillaging goals of Xyanic.

The conscription law of the armed forces of Xyanic is still at volunteer only but if the government pays for your education then you are subjected to serve the military for fifteen years and making use of the profession you studied to help the military advance.
