History: The Nation of Astrasa, firstly known as Zvyezdanas, was found early in around the first half of the 1st Millenia BC on the Russo-Baltic lands, migrating from there closer to the Gulf of Finland. They were mostly made out of Slavic and Norse peoples and were migrating Nomads. They finally settled in the 1th Century BC close to the city of Aquileia, while they travelled through Russian lands, swam the Black Sea, passed through Asia Minor and the Balkans, then settled near the Gulf of Trieste. They experienced romanticizing, influence from Romans, who protected them as the State of Zvezdasa. In the time period of around 6 centuries, they were known for their rapid adjustment to land and advancements, most notable in linguistic, medicinal, technological, economic and political fields. In the 5th Century AD, they started to expand, where they exploited both Roman Empires, who were weakened by recent wars majorly, where they faced triumphs after triumphs. After a Century of war, they decided to stop fighting and let their newly conquered lands in former Roman Italic, Balkan and Mediterranean lands and islands prosper, which they did. Until a breaking moment…
Astaro, a highly renowned Fleet Commander of a big wing of the nation’s fleet, staged a successful coup, where he got a majority of the people to rally behind him and leave the State of Zvezdasa behind, looking for new lands. He did this because of high corruption, which killed the nation the very next year. This event was then called “The Star Migration”, which happened in 1649. In the year 1655, Astaro’s people reached America. They landed on the conflicted lands of South America, between Dutch and Portuguese people. One of the remarkable members of the army Astaro successfully persuaded to join was Astar, Commander of the Ground Armies and Airforce (CGAA), with whom they managed to fight both countries off and settled the newly-conquered Brazilian lands. As known for their adaptation skills, they didn’t disappoint and became a major player in the American spheres, where they colonized as north as parts of Greenland to as south as parts of Antarctica. Astaro’s reign was followed by a multitude of successful and experienced Military Commanders. 250 years later, New Zvezdasa renamed itself to Astrarias and it switched into an Empire, where they took part in WW1, being neutral and exploiting both sides of war by trading with bigger prices. After it, the world fell into an economic failure, while the Empire of Astrarias prospered like never before. They developed cutting-edge technology for military, food, medicine industries and by the year 1930, were the biggest nation in the South American Sphere in all areas. In WW2, they sided with the Allies and joined the war in 1944, where they crushed the military forces of Axis powers in just a week. The war ended in huge profits for them, where they formed their own Sphere of Starphere in January of 1945, followed by NATO and Eastern Bloc.
Following the years of today, 2021, the newly-named Empire of Astrasa is renowned for being the most futuristic nation on the Globe.
In 2040, The Empire transformed into a Constitutional Empire due to Modern Worldwide Democratization.
In 2063, The Nation suffered from a Monarchic Crisis, where the self-made Emperor, ruling for over 120 years, dies with no heir. A tri-coup for the throne ensued - Between the Astar's, Astraro's and the Republic itself. The Republican Army was pushed off, while the Astar and Astaro Armies fought the mighty Battle of Mount Aster - the bloodiest battle, counting hundreds of thousands dead or heavily injured. The families then decided to subside their differences, bury the battle-axe and fuse into one family - The Aesterians. The Aesterians then formed The Constitutional Diarchial Republic, with 2 inherited Grand-Princes as Legislative Heads of State, an elected Prime Minister as the Executive Head of State and a chosen Supreme Justice as the Judicial Head of State.
