The young son of a newly formed nation suddenly has to rise to power in his ailing father's stead. Upon his father's passing, the soon to be king, vanishes. Rumors start circling the nation that the son ran away from the pressure of filling the beloved former king's footsteps and he is reviled across the nation for abandoning them. Until a year later, the son returns and reveals that his father was murdered and had he not fled, he would soon meet the same fate. He spent his time as a lowly traveler trying to get anyone to believe his story, until he came across a band of nations called The Fighting Pacifists who believed in his cause, with their support he retook his rightful throne, persecuted the people responsible for his father's dead, and is in the process of bringing Nebelystan back to its former glory and even surpassing it.
The Taliban were in control of Afghanistan and they were oppressing the people. On April 23rd, 2014, a brave and notable leader of the FVF(Freie Verteidigungsfront), named Nebel I, had enough of the Taliban and the Government and declared independence for the country "Damestan", now known as Nebelystan.
The war for independence was a brutal, pyrrhic victory. The casualties of the Taliban and the Afghan Government were both at an all-time high of 75,000 and 230,000, while the casualties of Damestan were low at only 22,000.
Damestan was able to exile or execute the rest of the Taliban living there.
Damestan renamed itself to Nebelystan on May 10th, 2020.
On August 15th, 2021, the Taliban were trying to take over Kabul, when Nebelystan was joining the civil war and was barely able to win it.
Nebel II's reason of joining the war was: "We did not want the Taliban next to our land, while they have the power to invade us and successfully win."
