Terrain: There are large mountain ranges that span for several thousand kilometers, the longest being the Beskar Mountains, where Mt. Veshok Kar'ta stands. There are only two major deserts split by a mountain range, locally called the Drybone Mountains in basic. There are plenty of rivers created from the non-desert mountains. The key ones are the Basilisk Tail River where some of the major beskar mines are located near the foot of, and the Adenn river, or Merciless River in basic which the capitol is located next to. There are many craters throughout the planet, some unnaturally created from large galactic scale wars.

History: Mandalorian culture revolves around military from childhood through adulthood. All male children have a series of life or death tests to go through when they are becoming of age, and then another test of solo performance as a young adult to become a full-fledged mandalorian soldier. Women are also expected to fight, but they are primarily care-takers of the house, often in charge of whole towns due to the men all being gone on expeditions of mercenary work. They are seen as equals to the men despite the difference in work being performed.
