If you are reading this, first off let me applaud your curiousity, it is a quality to cherish.

 

I am Exalts, from among my peers in Rose I am a brutal, reckless and utterly indefatigable reaver. I love nothing more than to burn pixels and have found my niche among losing wars, where I am probably the best fighter my alliance has. Nevertheless, you may find I am a rather reputable fellow in spite of that. Thus, I have a few rules I set for myself, and find appreciation in others also following:

  • I do not use default war reasons. It doesn't matter how rushed I am, even if it's a blitz or a counter, creativity is king.
  • I fight wars for the love of war, not for the promise of loot or even victory. Your pixels will prove a sufficient recompense.
  • There is a possibility that you are engaged in a war with me where you may be tempted to cycle me. By all means obey your orders, but know that I am impossible to pin down, and I will terrorize your whales.
  • I have an appreciation for people who are capable of thinking outside the box. I try to be unconventional, myself.

History: Master Brew is a nation born from the period of most instability in the modern history of Orbis, following the economic depression at the dusk of NPO's Last Time.

It is in this period of political instability that the state of Schleswig-Holstein, then suffering from rampant inflation and strict austerity, and with a large portion of its workforce weened by the brutal fighting in Germany and the ensuing occupation; that mass riots broke out; and Lübeck turned into the beating heart of a powerful separatist movement.
With the central government unable to maintain peace in the region, the whole state declared independence on November 12th, 2048.
Wanting to follow the example of their northern neighbour, Denmark, the newly liberated nation chose a constitutional monarchy, led by a local duke.
However, on August 6th, 2050; when Duke Karl of Stettin died without an heir, and with no relative to take over, the people turned to an election to choose their next ruler. Elected was the then Baron Exalts of Kiel; who was then coronated on August 27th.

To the surprise of this burgeoning government, the nation was quickly recognized as legitimate by the nations of Rose, and admited as a provisional member state; and, thanks to its large amount of engineers and expansive research institutes, was put in charge of its technological affairs.

A wave of sweeping reforms took place in the young constitutional monarchy. The parliament was abolished and replaced by a National Council; and refering to the many cafés of Lübeck and the culture surrounding it; the newly coronated duke became a Coffee King; gaining near-limitless executive power in the process. The nation of Holstein became the Kingdom of Master Brew.
The National Council consists of regional lords of the various territories within the coffee kingdom. Their role is that of an advisory body. They advise the coffee king on pressing matters and oversee the bureaucracy of their region.

On June 1st, 2052, Master Brew annexed Syddanmark and Midtjylland from Denmark after a war that lasted 2 months; and 4 months later in October 12th, 2052, annexed Nordjylland without resistance; putting an end to Master Brew's ambitions in the north to this day.
On August 5th, 2057, Coffee King Exalts declared war on the nation of Niedersachsen for the city of Hamburg and surrounding territories; and captured the city five weeks later. Those lands were officially integrated into Master Brew on September 26th, 2057, 52 days after the start of the war.

Though the kingdom of Master Brew is currently at peace, Coffee King Exalts has affirmed that he will continue to annex territories to fulfill the needs of the State and its people if the need arises.
