Due to the lack of government interference in the lives of her citizens, Latsuvians largely maintain close familial ties with a culture mirroring that of more traditionalist or religious cultures despite being a largely secular nation (with no state recognition of religions or religious acts). This federation of states works to maintain the same rights in each (including ensuring absolute free trade/immigration) but often leaves the specifics of enforcement and laws to each member state. Federally the aforementioned free trade/immigration, defense, and environmental conservation are the only legal purview of government despite occasional attempts by socialists to warp this.
