Terrain: Most mountains have been lost to either mining or bombing, leaving most of the country flat. Although some areas have escaped the conflict, most of the nation is covered in craters from shelling. An extensive system of trenches spans all throughout the nation, and underground tunnels allow for safe economic transportation even during the worst of times.

Ruined towns and cities dot the landscape. Although after having been repaired the first few dozen times, it was found to be a better use of time and resources to just move out into the country and wilderness (some towns remain populated, however). The few cities that are populated are surrounded by thick, steel walls.
