1st Valyrian Election October 5th, 2068

The Interim Triarch of the Valyrian Freehold, Tiberius Aurion was officially elected Triarch of the Valyrian Freehold for his first term of 5 years at the first Session of the 2nd Supreme People’s Assembly with 520 Deputies voting for and 167 Deputies and all the Communist Deputies voting against the election of the Triarch.

Reflecting the general will of all the Valyrian people, the Supreme People’s Assembly solemnly declared at home and abroad that Tiberius Aurion who is making a new history of modeling the whole society on the values of Old Valyria with his outstanding ideological and theoretical wisdom and experienced and seasoned leadership and demonstrating the politico-ideological might and tremendous power of the citizens of the Valyrian Freehold on the highest level with the people-first and a state-first principle was elected as the first Triarch of the Valyrian Freehold. The election of the Dragonlord of Old Valyria as the first Triarch of the Valyrian Freehold is the great political event of crucial historical significance in further consolidating and developing the Valyrian Freehold into a free and secure society forever and accomplishing the revolutionary cause of Old Valyria by creating wealth for all citizens regardless of ethnic background. 
 

Holding Tiberius Aurion invariably in high esteem as the top leader of the Valyrian Freehold is the reflection of the deep reverence and trust of all the party members, citizens and servicepersons of the Imperial Armed Forces; in him who has opened up a bright future of all generations to come by leading The National Conservative Tiger Party of Valyria to victory.

The Supreme People’s Assembly is elected for 5 year terms. The Assembly is the highest organ of State power representing the citizens of Valyria.

The Assembly is convened in regular scheduled sessions. At all other times, the Standing Committee acts for the Assembly. Extraordinary sessions of the Assembly can also meet when called by the Standing Committee or by one third of the Assembly Deputies.

Six political parties took part in the elections.

The results of the election for the Supreme People’s Assembly granted seats to the following political parties.

Total seats in the Assembly: 687

The National Conservative Tiger Party of Valyria: 510 seats.

The Social Democratic Party of Valyria: 101 seats.

The Communist Party of Valyria: 35 seats.

The Libertarian Party of Valyria: 23 seats.

The Christian Unity Party of Valyria: 9 seats.

The Pirate Party of Valyria: 9 seats.

The Second Session of the supreme People’s Assembly is expected to begin on the 15th of November with the Triarch expected to submit his nominations for the government including the Cabinet and the Premier.

The 2nd Valyrian election for the Supreme People’s Assembly is scheduled to take place as per the rules of the Constitution on November 8th, 2073.
